As I stated, I did not catch the full exchange. I didn't hear the 'race' reference. I was in the other room (making coffee) and just heard him say 'he tought too much attention was being paid to this one case when there were other missing persons cases that got scant attention'. [The remark I heard didn't have a racial reference.]

By the time I got the TV/Comuter room, F&F had Huddy interviewing the Uncle.

Phillips didn't explicitly mention race, but he did specifically cite the case of the missing Hunter College student as one in which another mother's pleas went unheard. And as you'll see from what appears in the thread, with more at the given link, the Hunter College case is one in which the victim's mother explictly charges anti-black discrimination.

Every topic on F&F reverts to Julian when Julian is on. No matter what the subject, he stops, gives a pensive and annoying pause and then launches into one of his self-serving missives. No matter what the subject is, it's all about Julian's "context". How Julian sees it. The problem is that Julian is a total dumb ass and no body gives a hoot how he sees anything. The guy is narcissistic beyond belief. A total bore.

I turn on Fox & Friends everyweekend just in case Julian Phillips is not on the show. So far, that means I change channels within 30 seconds. Even Juliet Huddy being on can't convince me to watch.

So, I didn't see any of this exchange. But it doesn't surprise me, because it sounds like Julian Phillips being Julian Phillips. When Neal Gabler starts making guest appearances, the end will be near.

"Adults" is a weak term for people who don't want to be the wise guidance for young people. These so called adults just wanted to party and the young just copied their behavior. When did we forget that as adults we are the example?

There is a GIANT difference in the two stories. One, you have a NYC murder, common as stardust. Every week there are several fictional ones on TV. Second, you have a high school kid go on a class trip to a vacation "paradise" for many Americans then goes missing.

Most New Yorkers do not pay much attention to crime stories, but every parent in America had to think about the other story.
