The NY Times:
The U.N. Security Council had expressed surprise and concern at Taylor's disappearance and Secretary-General Kofi Annan had said he planned to talk to the Nigerian authorities about it. He urged all countries to refuse to give Taylor refuge.
LOL! Strong letter to follow!

(Do these reporters double over with laughter when they write such things?)

It's not the reporters who double over with laughter, it's old Kofi himself who does when he reads the tripe they print.

You do know the UN Reaction Level Matrix don't you?

Level One: Suprise and Concern.

Level Two: Shock and Deep Concern.

Level Three: Profound Shock and Very Deep Concern.

Level Four: Profound Shock, Very Deep Concern, and Sternly Worded Letter.

Level Five: Statement Of Unacceptability, Really, Really, Really Very Deep Concern. 2nd Sternly Worded Letter Possible, but Not Required.

Level Six: Condemnation (verbal)

Level Seven: Strong Condemnation (verbal)

Level Eight: Very Strong Condemnation (verbal, but Sternly Worded Written Condemnation possible)

Level Nine: Condemnation In The Strongest Possible Terms (verbal, but written still possible)

Level Ten: Written Condemnation In The Strongest Possible Terms sent via New York Times Editorial Page.

That oughta show 'em.
