I think it's a combination of things. I've looked and can't find it, but, I remember reading some time ago that a TX school district - - I believe it was Dallas - - wanted to hire illegals as teachers, wanted Spanish in the classroom, etc., etc.
I believe there were buses that were made available for the kids in Dallas and, I heard the the Spanish radio stations had been working to help in the protests. Of course, LaRaza, Mecha, ANSWR and a few others were probably involved in helping to 'teach' the kids and their parents their propaganda.
If we don't give up this stupid notion of "Spanish in the classrooms" we're never going to get assimilation. And if we don't have that, then we darn sure could be Mexico Nord here in Texas. We need English immersion YESTERDAY!!!

That could be true - - I think a lot of people have no idea about the proper handling of a flag. That said, I think some know perfectly well what they're doing.
I got perturbed yesterday about the fact that one of our local rags, The Seattle Times, chose to fly their flag at half staff in honor of the 6 people that were murdered here over the weekend and the Killer! IIRC, only the Pres or the Gov of the state can order the flag to be flown in this manner. We're almost positive that the Prez didn't do it, and, so far, can find no indication that Gov-select Fraudoire did - - but, I'll keep looking.
Require welfare recipients to work at the jobs presently being done by the illegals.
