DUBLIN, Ireland, March 29, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Two Ukraininan doctors, Vadym Lazaryev and Vladymyr Ishchenko, have been seeking asylum in Ireland since 2004, after they were forced to flee their country for exposing appalling human rights abuses of women and unborn children in the Ukraine.
The doctors were part of a group working to uncover a macabre system of medical trafficking in the bodies of unborn babies, European Life Network reported today. Doctors were deceiving women into aborting their babies for false "medical" reasons, and then selling the bodies of the children. The children would be aborted live, and their bodies cut into separate organs. In some cases live dissection took place.
Most of the body parts were apparently sold to the burgeoning cosmetic industry of "foetal tissue" youth-enhancing treatments, as well as quack "medical therapies."
In many cases, women were paid to get pregnant and to deliver the baby at a given gestation. They were paid a higher price for carrying the child closer to term, since abortion is illegal in the Ukraine after 12 weeks gestation.
In September 2005 the rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, issued a report on the disappearance of newborn babies in the Ukraine. Ruth-Gaby Vermot-Mangold called for an immediate re-opening of judicial investigations into allegations of trafficking of babies for adoption and of aborted or premature babies for "scientific" purposes, after visiting the Ukraine August 29-Sept. 1, 2005.
She obtained detailed information on four cases during her visit, reported the Council of Europe Press. In one instance, the family of the missing child had been told by doctors that their baby had died but had not been given permission to see or bury the baby.
Doctors Vadym Lazaryev and Vladymyr Ischenko had full police participation in their investigation, but when the investigation revealed government sanction of the trafficking and the involvement of prominent doctors, they were advised to stop. The police told them they could not guarantee their safety. After an attempt was made on their lives, they fled the country to Ireland, leaving behind their families. A documentary on the expose was screened in the Ukraine after they had left.
They are now seeking permanent asylum in Ireland for themselves and their families. Both have children-Dr. Vladymyr Ischenko has not seen his first children, twins who were born six months after he fled the Ukraine.
After four intensive interviews over fifteen months, they were denied refuge in January. Their appeal will be heard in Dublin tomorrow, March 30. It could take up to a year for the outcome to be known. They are asking for support and prayers for a satisfactory and speedy outcome.

I think 40 million is the last figure I heard. Does anyone have the latest? Either way it is an appaling number that dwarfs the human costs of some of the worst horrors in human history.
A friend was telling me about a Chinese movie he saw in which a woman, afraid of aging and losing her looks, went to an old woman who offered something guaranteed to restore her youth: meals of aborted fetuses. Eventually she aborts and consumes her own fetus. I told my friend that, even as sick as this sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if someone someplace were doing it.
I had no idea how close to the truth I was.
All of those who thought that abortion-on-demand would not bring about the general denegration of human life need to think again.
Live vivisection? God have mercy on us all lest He smite the earth. Such an act sounds like Dr. Mengele, "The White Angel", as he was known.

The depths of evil man can sink to is horrifying. It's so evil as to be almost surreal. Applying the cosmetics would seem to be nothing less than a ritualistic washing of one's self with the blood of children to worship satan.
Praying the Chaplet for Pro-life Causes
"Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy" (Diary, 300).
The entire world is convulsing in an atmosphere of catastrophic peril. We live in a collage of terrorism, religious division, plague, famine, war, pornography, homosexuality, abortion, stem cell research, euthanasia, and moral indifference; human cloning is on the horizon.
As a human race, we have hardened our hearts to the authority of God. We have rejected His laws and replaced them with our own, and we must act to restore God's authority over His creation and melt our hardened hearts. On March 25, 2003, the Feast of the Incarnation of Christ in the womb of Our Blessed Mother, the Holy Father personally signed and granted to Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy a special Apostolic Blessing. Pope John Paul II encourages the whole world to join with all Eucharistic Apostles in recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet to "avoid Divine Chastisement," and to eradicate the "culture of death" throughout the world.
This "universal call to mercy" takes on monumental importance in fulfilling the mandate of Jesus Christ to St. Faustina. Our Lord told her that, "Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy" (Diary, 300). The timing of the Papal Blessing is apparent to those who realize that we live in a world in desperate need of God's Mercy. Christ Himself dictated the Divine Mercy Chaplet to St. Faustina as a prayer to God the Father; it is a Eucharistic prayer that mitigates God's anger. We know from Sacred Scripture that Christ never forgave an unrepentant sinner, and we must ask for mercy humbly and obediently.
The Holy Father wrote in the encyclical The Mercy of God, "The Church proclaims the truth of God's mercy revealed in the crucified and risen Christ, and she professes it in various ways. Furthermore, she seeks to practice mercy towards mercy through people, and she sees in this an indispensable condition for solicitude for a better and 'more human' world, today and tomorrow. However, at no time and in no historical period — especially at a moment as critical as our own — can the Church forget the prayer that is a cry for the mercy of God amid the many forms of evil which weigh upon humanity and threaten it" (Dives in Misericordia, VIII, Para 15).
When we approach our loving Father in obedience and offer the merits of His Son's bitter Passion and death for our sins, He responds with an outpouring of grace. We have within our grasp the means of effectuating a great Miracle of Divine Mercy for the entire world. We must cooperate as a human race with the Divine Will of Our Father and pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as often as our station in life permits. Our Lord told St. Faustina, "Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy" (Diary, 687).

We must cooperate, and we must act; the outcome of this "Universal Call to Mercy" will be a great change of hearts in all of humanity. "A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances" (Ez 36:26-7). For it is in the heart where change must take place, and it is through trust in God that this action will take place. When we, as a human race, reach out to God with "childlike trust," He will respond because He has promised us this that He would. Our Lord told St. Faustina, "The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is — trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive" (Diary, 1578).
We are currently engaged in a spiritual battle for the hearts and souls of every person on earth. Our mission, like St. Faustina's, is God and souls. We will either live in a pagan world completely devoid of God and His authority, or we will live in a world where the Judeo-Christian ethic is the basis of moral and legal authority. As a nation, we have already seen the initial and gradual divorce of our society from anything that is of God. We need to act and address the issue, and the time to do so is now. We ask that you assist our efforts and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at least once daily; pray it with childlike trust for all your intentions, and also for mothers contemplating abortion, the infants dying in the wombs, victims of euthanasia, stem cell research, cloning, and for a change in the hearts of our elected political leaders. I think putting a stop to these practices here in the USA would make a good election year campaign promise for our conservative presidential nominee, don't you?? ;) It would certainly get the relgious base energized and firmly behind the candidate willing to take this horror on! I don't think being FOR the sale and profit of fetal body parts like legs, eyes, and brains etc would do well in a national opinion poll! LET'S MAKE IT AN ISSUE FOR '08!
