Perhaps the presidential talk surrounding Clinton indicates that the United States is ready to accept a woman president and ready to catch up with the rest of the world.

I hope I die at a ripe old age before we "catch up" with the rest of the world.

Why is it so difficult for the left to face the reality that there are inherent differences between men and women? Could there be a successful woman president? Of course. Margret Thatcher proves that it is possible. But clamoring for a woman president just because we haven't yet had one sounds a lot like some sort of weird affirmative action to me. Stong female leaders are like white baseketball players.
