"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Canada is deporting its illegals, but WE CAN'T?????
Oh geez .. McCain in on??
good thing I'm not fully waiting and can ignore him
"Do you trust your own rep., or Senator?"
Patty Osama Mama Murray and Maria Can't-vote-well??? Puuuhhleeeeese. Still not sure about Dave Reichert (my rep) yet (he's disappointed me on some votes)
Not my Senators, but Jeff Sessions, John Kyl, and John Cornyn - yes
Yesterday Howie Carr kept playing one of the Kennedy clips where he said "98 percent of the undocument workers (or whatever the bleep he called them) are employed." He really needs to leave the booze alone.
It's works about as good as your virtual wall!
If she's saying the same things when she comes back to the US, then I'll be skeptical too. But I just feel like while she's in Iraq, she probably wouldn't want to say anything too derogatory to other Iraqis.
Oh, the poor illegals are vulnerable to abuse. I am not buying what McCain is selling here.
JD Hayworth and Jon Kyl, absolutely YES!
John McLame - no way!
I think Canada realizes illegals negatively impact their social programs. You cannot get landed immigrant status in Canada unless you can prove you can support yourself and won't wind up on social services. Don't know why we can't do that. Oh, I remember. Ted Kennedy and the immigration reform he pushed through in the late 60's.
I really am not as passionate on this issue as many on FR but that picture pushed me over the edge. I am getting more and more "energized" against it every day.
What other laws can I as an American citizen, ignore?
Prediction: it had nothing to do with where she was. She will not change her tune. She is an Arabist sympathizer based on her history and writings. Oddly, I hope I am wrong.
I would be a lot more comfortable with the legislation if the funding for the enforcement were part of the legislation. I don't have any problem with what McCain is SAYING...but will his colleagues in this Congress and future Congresses fund the enforcement piece of it? Enforcement as well as BICE Reform. Lindsay Graham was particularly good on this on Sean last night. BICE is a rotten-to-the-core agency...as long as it doesn't do the job, this problem will remain. Period. I don't care what the law is, if it is so complex that it can't be followed, it WILL be ignored. And we will continue to have this problem. And I don't think we should live with that in a 9/11 world, but I'm not terribly confident of its solution.
Ask Johnny-boy about a comment ED Hill made on F&F this a.m. - They keep talking about 'doing the job that no Americans wants to do"
ED said that there is a 14% unemployment rate among Americans w no degree. My guess is some of them will do those jobs as well as those being layed off or displaced by illegals willing to work for less wages.
"I don't think that's Fay-ah." /sarcasm
"We are not pandering."
