No problemo. Let them lose the sales. I buy from gun show and the internet.
BTTT
Southern NH is being infested by liberals from Mass. They come to NH because there's no income tax, and immediatly start campaigning for higher taxes. Go figure.
Good for you! Since Wal-Mart caved on this, what will be the next thing they cave to!
There is this person at forums I go to and he is really anti-hunting and condescending. I am sure here he was at FR and got banned.

You should also post this at some of the larger gun related forums. Here's a couple to get you started:

Just curious how you know this decision was based on "caving" in to anti-hunters. Are you certain it wasn't based on sales? Wal-Mart is all about maximizing revenues by the square inch. Were you told that this was a PR decision, not a business decision?
"...it was a corporate decision to phase out hunting at this store."
All I can say is that if you don't have enough guns already, don't know how to re-pack your own shells, don't know how to hunt, fish and survive with basic skills, Wal-Mart isn't going to be the one to "save you" when the balloon goes up anyway, LOL!
And I LOVE Wal-Mart, but it's good business sense to cater to your buying base depending upon where you're located. They wouldn't have "caved" if they were making big money on guns and ammo in that particular store in that particular location.
Boycott them if it makes you "feel" good, but that's the Liberal way of doing things, Hon.
Business is business. And as a Crunchy-Con-Capitalist, I see it as a good move for that store. Put in another isle of cr@p that nobody NEEDS but for some reason everybody WANTS (like the 10,000th brand of shampoo or deodorant fer Pete's Sake!) and keep the ShareHolders happy with their returns and buying more stock in your company. :)
You should be buying weapons and ammo from a reputable dealer anyway who knows his/her way around a weapon, not from some pimply faced geek or retiree-that-still-needs-to-work at Wal-Mart.
And I'm not picking on you...just stating my more pragmatic, realistic, non-knee-jerk view of the situation.
Happy Hunting! It's almost time for Turkey Season up here in southern Wisconsin. Can't wait!
Wal Mart may simply be reacting to market realities. How many people from Massachusetts actually hunt? Chances are that folks from Massachusetts are displacing a lot of local hunters in your area of New Hampshire, by buying up their homes.
In New Hampshire? New Hampshire?
This ought to make the Anti-Wal Mart Freepers happy.
"Wal-Mart in southern NH has caved to the anti-hunters"
Hogwash. If Wal-Mart has eliminated guns or ammunition, it is undoubtedly because their sales weren't profitable and the floor space can be put to better use. New Hampshire has no shortage of hunting supply stores, none of which are affected in the least by "anti-hunters". See, e.g.,
