I have had this same anger burning in my belly for years. The truth is its easier for our gov't to bust us than go through the hassle of busting them. Why bother when you can just pull someone who has a little cash and a stake in where they live, charge them a couple hundred bucks and know that not only will you get it but they will go through the hassles to "be a good citizen".

The truth is that all of these are local level laws that should be the easiest to stop.

By the way, if you lived in Texas you would have added one more.

"A man on business from Chicago goes into the hotel bar where he is staying to have some beers and food, and watch the game after sealing the deal. By the third quarter an officer sees him cheering louder than the officer deems reasonable. The officer asks the bartender how many the man has had. "Six" the bartender replies.

The officer confronts the man who defensively tells the officer "sir I am watching this game and staying in this hotel, did the hotel manager complain or a customer?'

"No but its illegal to be drunk in a bar"

"I am not drunk" the man replies.

.Officer escorts the man to the lobby where he is asked to take a breathalyser. On principle the man refuses and is hauled away to jail for the night.

When we become a nation of lawbreakers, then the government has complete control over us and our lives. The only thing they have left to accomplish is to take away our firearms. On that day, we become serfs.
