I don't question the motives of most of that small group of FReepers I do. They are jealous of your success. Keep up the good work.

Thank You and great to meet you all.I think that every person who reads the FreeRepublic should find it in themselves to travel to the Walter Reed FReep even once. We returned home with renewed Fight and loathing for the left. I live in an area with Code Pinko/Phelps Pods growing in everyone's garden (and public school system.)

God Bless our brave service man and woman and the DC Freepers and others who support out troops every week against the evil forces!!
I hope I speak for the many of us who silently read of your weekly battles and wish we could join you in person!! While we can't be there in person, we are there with you in spirit!!
(And many, many thanks to those who countered that horrible Phelps man & his psychotic group!!)

My sis and her friend Linda had just the best time! We got to chat at length with "POW" Bill and handsome Damarcus (too bad those lovely ladies from Howard U. missed him!).
There was also a strangly suspect fellow with an odd accent, who appeared out of the shadows wearing a black goth cape and and enormous crystal around his neck. He claimed to be military- something vaguely related to intelligence- before taking off in a cab. He mysteriously claimed "he knew things we didn't know". Also we had one of the pinkos (the ponytail guy, aka "Larry Finkelstein") pull over and inform us "the war was lost". Needless to say, he didn't stick around quite long enough for our WR warriors to set him to rights.
We also very much enjoyed getting to know Daniel and Elizabeth, and have kept them in our thoughts and prayers every day.
In spite of the stealth egg attack, and heading the wrong way on the beltway, it was a perfect evening!

Great action(s) and report(s)! Once again DC Chapter proves they can take on all comers in defense of our nations defenders!
There ought to be an expose site or one page handout with links on Code Pink you could give to newcomer moonbats and reporters.
It is very funny when people come looking for moonbats and find Pro Americans.
When we outlasted World Can't Wait back in November it so happened a Pro-Life conference was getting out and people in a line of cars stared at us while waiting for the light to change.
"I thought this was an anti-war rally?" one wondered. We laughed and the people cheered as the light changed and they all drove off.

This is great - two of the worst to Freep for the price of one!
Am not sure which of those two groups of losers I loathe the most - they're both at the very top of s%$# list.
Sic'em guys !

3DJOY, a very active Freeper drove off I95 last night near Richmond. She was on her way to her daughter's, and to attend the Freep at Walter Reed tonight. She was pulled from flames by a truckdriver who witnessed the accident. I have heard that she will be in hospital 4 days....then back home here in FL in 6 weeks.
Thank God she is safe and our prayer go out to her from Tucson!

Repeating the pointer to reply #25 and adding some info and pinging a few more FReepers.
I talked to abenaki a little over an hour ago. He said that 3D-Joy's ankle is injured, but he isn't sure about other injuries.
The fact that they hope to release her from the hospital in 4 days is a good sign. If she was seriously burned, they would likely want to keep her hospitalized for much longer.
Of course, these are preliminary reports and we don't know how complete and accurate they are.
I've had no luck contacting her daughter or son-in-law in the DC area and could not get a working phone number for her daughter and son-in-law in FL. The relatives are probably all in Richmond, so our best hope is that they update abenaki and he passes the info on.

Sisku,
It was great to FReep with you again and to meet your sister and her friend.
Did I label your sister and her friend correctly in the photos? I hope that I did.
Tell me about the stealth egg attack. Who has direct info on that? Somebody who wasn't medically able to attend the FReep (i.e., Landry Fan) mentioned the eggs to me, but I forgot to follow up with anyone with direct knowledge.

I just hung up from talking to 3D-Joy's daughter.
Joy has had surgery for a shattered ankle. They are still examining her neck for a possible fracture. She will be in the hospital in Richmond until Sunday, the way it looks now.
Her car was "crushed" and her dog also suffered a fractured leg. Troopers took the dog to a shelter and has now been retrieved by the family.
3D-Joy wanted everyone to know she is all right and asked us all to carry on tonight without her.

I'm so thankful that 3Djoy was not more seriously injured. Just another example that even our "homefront" warriors can be wounded. Everyone be careful.
