"I call on the Senate minority leader to end his blocking tactics and allow the Senate to do its work and pass a fair, effective immigration reform bill," Bush said in his weekly radio address."

I'm in 100% agreement with the President on this tactic being used by the demoncrats. It was the demoncrats in the House who attached a felony provision to the Immigration Bill as opposed to a Republican provision which would have made it a misdemeanor. Congressman Tancredo pointed out this dirty trick by the demoncrats recently during a C-SPAN interview. The demoncrats create policy by using poison pills as part of a strategy.

As soon as Congress comes back from their Easter vacation we had better flood their offices one again to make sure no amnesty bill reaches the floor for a vote.

Reid did stop the bill from progressing, and we should be glad that this abomination was stopped for now. However, Reid is not doing the American People any favors. He didn't do it to stand up for the American People, he is doing it because he didn't want the Republicans to add amendments that would weaken the amnesty he wants.
