I have to tell you....Fox News was showing the protest all day long....since most of the country will be having theirs tomorrow...

And going on and on about how huge it was...and that there was no violence..and there were "a lot of American flags" this time.

I won't go into the long story here...but, let's just say this protest was much "better STAGED" than the ones a couple weeks ago, when the kids left schools every day for a week...carrying MEXICAN flags..

What a bunch of HOOEY!

It's all a show for Congress to give them a cover story to vote for amensty and increasing immigration for "low pay" labor.

Verisimilitude of "consent" and "movement."

Rove can show Bush pictures and say "See! See what I told you!"

What civil rights are they seeking?

Instant citizenship?
Uncontested border passage?
Free medical care?
Voting rights for non citizens?

said Angelica Salas, executive director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, where a demonstration last month drew more than 500,000 people. "Ultimately in a democracy, your influence depends on putting people in power to represent your interests."

I'm all for a larger Latin movement. As long as it's moving south and keeps going.

My fear is that in 5 to 10 years there will be a violent movement..car bombs, assignations, for an independent Hispanic state within US borders.

There's a statue of their "movement" on display in downtown
San Jose, Ca. It's supposed to be good ol' Quetzlcoatl, but
it more resembles a large steaming load.
