Massacre points to Toronto biker war

SHEDDEN, ONT. and TORONTO — A long-simmering rivalry between criminal biker gangs appears to have exploded in the largest gangland slaying in Ontario history.

Three members of the Bandidos motorcycle club, long-time rivals of the Hells Angels, were reported missing Friday and may be among the eight bodies discovered Saturday morning.

One of the missing men is believed to be associated with Superior Towing, the Toronto-based company whose truck was found abandoned on a side road south of London, Ont., not far from the home of a well-known biker-gang leader.

A civil war seems to have broken out in Canada. A quagmire.

Hopefully, they'll exterminate each other with a minimum of collateral damage.

Some bigwig of the Hell's Angels was killed down in Connecticut a couple weeks back. I guess the long winter is really getting to them.

On the bikers' website, a message said: "The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, or any of its members, are not involved in this crime in any way shape or form. Newspaper reports and speculation to the contrary, will be proved completely wrong in the coming days."

What an interesting world we live in...............Hells Angels have a website.

This story is pure crapola......according to Michael Moore that is.

Canadians don't hold that dreaded villence prone gene the way we Americans do.

There is no violence in canada....

None what-so-ever!

I lived near a group of Gypsy Jokers in OR before the law pulled off a drug raid. One officer wounded and one Joker killed, the rest that weren't arrested moved on to greener pastures. Bad actors.

lol mikie needs to have his head examined. like we all didn't know that already...

we were still in Quebec when the Hells Angels were cleaning up. bodies were being found in trunks, a reporter was shot for doing a big article on them...it was lovely. the people finally stopped thinking it was cool when a bomb went off and killed little boy walking by a building. :(

someone will correct me if i am wrong, but i read somewhere that Canada is the only place that the HA and MAFIA actually work together. sounds like that isn't going too well anymore. lol

In a landmark decision last July, involving a case of extortion, a Superior Court judge in Barrie, Ont., ruled under laws designed to combat organized crime that the Hells Angels are a criminal organization.

So Canada has RICO, too?

My personal attitude towards the deaths of "out-law" bikers is no loss, no report. But there was a time in my brief (12 year) law enforcement career when a "biker" gang offerred a lot of money to anybody who would bomb my home and family.

The situation with biker gang killings was getting so bad in that area that every other day they'd haul up a body from the St. Lawrence. There was a joke going around - "They just made changes to the fishing laws - A limit of one Hell's Angel per rod per day!"

It hit its peak in the late 80's and early 90's, but they've been relatively quiet ever since. In Quebec, the Hells and the Rock Machine have been at each other's throats for the last few decades.

Yeah...that's the ticket!

Illegal aliens doing the killing that Americans no longer want to do...and you don't have to pay them the union rate!

If I remember, there was a Canadian book writer who did a huge expose on outlaw bikers several years ago. At that time, it sounded like most of it gone back underground since there was a lot of bad publicity about the number and brutality of the executions (which included things like battery acid torture). Nasty stuff, and it does sound like open warfare has broken out. Sloppy though, because in the past, the bodies were dropped someplace for rapid decompostion (ie St. Lawrence). I hope none of the eight dead guys were wrong place/wrong timers...
