Mr. C4E was in a band which played for the Pointer Sisters at a show. Said they were very nice. Loved their music...Jump was always cranked up real loud on my radio back in the 80's. Love the song.

Break Out is one of the best 80s CDs around. Loved the Pointer Sisters... June will be missed. RIP, lady!

Far too young. A very talented group. May she rest in peace.

Thanks for posting this. It gives a good opportunity to express appreciation for the enjoyment and memories the Pointer Sisters have provided, and still provide through their music. I loved them from the first time I heard them.

Sincere condolences to the family.

We've been losing a lot of the "good ones" lately. June Pointer will be missed.

Break Out and one other CD are the two from the 80's that actually affected me the most.

The other was then and still is one of the best CD's of all time...

Be Yourself Tonight by the Eurythmics.

I've always thought the Pointer Sisters were a very talented and very classy group.

Same here.

Completely agree on 'Be Yourself Tonight'. It is, wihtout a doubt, the best CD by the Eurythmics.
