Days after announcing that Iran had successfully enriched uranium, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday called Israel a "rotten, dried tree" that will be annihilated by "one storm."
Opening of at the opening ceremony of the Qods (Jerusalem) conference in Tehran on supporting the Palestinians, Ahmadinejad fired a series of verbal shots at Israel, saying it was a "permanent threat" to the Middle East that will "soon" be liberated, and again questioning the validity of the Nazi Holocaust against Jews in World War II.
"Like it or not, the Zionist regime is heading toward annihiliation," Ahmadinejad said. "The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm," he said.
"The existence of the Zionist regime is tantamount to an imposition of an unending and unrestrained threat so that none of the nations and Islamic countries of the region and beyond can feel secure from its threat," Ahmadinejad said.
The president provoked a world outcry last October when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map." On Friday, he repeated his previous line on the Holocaust, saying: "If such a disaster is true, why should the people of this region pay the price? Why does the Palestinian nation have to be suppressed and have its land occupied?"
"There might be doubts in the Holocaust, but there are definitely no doubts about the holocaust happening in the recent years in Palestine," Ahmadinejad said.
The land of Palestine, he said, referring to the British mandated territory that includes all of Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, "will be freed soon."
He did not say how this would be achieved, but insisted to the audience of at least 900 people: "Believe that Palestine will be freed soon."

Nuke Israel and what are you doing for those poor Palestians that no one in the Middle East wants? You expose them to radiation, cancer, poisoned land and eventual death. Maybe they are that stupid to think that Israel will not retaliate but since the Arabs and Iranians do fear the Israeli's for what they can do on the battlefield and in the clandestine services it seems far fetched to me that they would launch a direct or agent conducted attack.
Does this guy have a suicide wish? Or a self-destruction wish for his country? Whlie they are trying to make 3 grams of 15% enriched uranium Israel has a completly modern, missle equipped army and airforce.

We will not have to do anything with Iran. Israel will, with our blessings and well wishes, take them out for us.
The leftist mainstream media and the 'Rats in the US Congress have seen to it that it will not occur before January 20th, 2009, at 12 noon.
And that, of course, depends on whether the American people do the right thing on the first Tuesday of the previous November.

These guys have played behind the scenes for years so I think something else is up. Provoke a war with Israel that they can say that the Zionists started? Establish a bomb and encourage Hezbollah up north, the Syrians in the northeast and the Pali's in the west and south to act? Egypt likes their US blood money so they may sit out and Jordainians can actuall remember getting their asses kicked a few times by Israel so I don't see them in it. Maybe just a broader Middle East/Muslim holy war is what they want. Question is, just how many in Iran are going to want to fight it?
