Yeah, but there are probably only five Italians left in North Beach, right? Was there ever a large Portuguese population?

I heard that the Chinese were leaving San Fran and expanding in the East Bay. Is that true?

That's it! In and Out. The movie was forgettable, but that scene was priceless: "Is everybody gay? Is this The Twilight Zone?"

The area around downtown Oakland is heavily Asian. I don't know who lives in the elite hills of Oakland at present, but I suspect it has a bunch of Asians too. In fact Oakland in general is gentrifying. The real estate is too desirable, and mayor Jerry Brown has facilitated that.

That wasn't the CDC, it was a report by a guy who read obituaries and then wrote up his findings. It's been completely discredited.
