You idiots supporting Lou Dobbs have not been watching him before he got onto his immigration kick.
He bashes Bush on everything he talks about, including the war on terrorism, education etc.
He is not a conservative and is not worthy of our support.
You know, posters like you make a lot of people cringe. You think you have the right to jump somebody because of their opinion, then comeback with an "oh, poor me the victim" routine. Just because you have some sappy interest in Dobbs, doesn't mean the rest of us have to. You're ability to mis-quote ("his disagreement with the Bush administration.") is your only true ability as a poster here. Go back and read my original post, if you have the ability to read, that is. I said "snide, biased" - that doesn't mean simple dissagreement. I also see being called a liberal is something you must have experienced before, considering your canned response.
Okay, his reporting is "snide and biased" so he deserves to be hung. Keep posting. You're digging yourself in deeper all the time.
All of Dobbs transcripts can be found here, www.cnn.com/lou.
Tell us what has been inaccurate. Snide and biased are your opinion.
Post it.
"Okay, his reporting is "snide and biased" so he deserves to be hung."
Glad you agree.
Oh, by all means, be a fool and defend Dobbs. If you think you're watchinginamazement now, just wait until he turns even more against the Republicans and help the democrats win this fall. I assume you'll like that because it will surely put an end to the immigration issue. The dems will move towards open borders, amnesty and Lou Dobbs for president. There you will be thumbing through his transcripts saying, "but he said, but he said".
What proof do you have that Lou doesn't care about those things?
Because you are incapable of telling what bias and snide are, here is an example:
"DOBBS: Bill Schneider, you talk about the credibility of this White House. This just smells to high heaven. And even though, as we report, leaks go on in Washington, even secret information is leaked, but this is -- this is at a new level, is it not?"
That's stating a biased opinion in a snide way.
And, if you think the democrats aren't using Dobbs and his supporters like yourself, one only has to read the left blogs for the answers:
from Carpetbagger - "A good second best solution is to have the Lou Dobbs of this world draw a significant portion of people away from the Republicans. His narrative will get a great deal more play in the corporate, right-wing media than will any Democratic narrative, and his voters would otherwise be Republican voters."
Yes, you are biased and snide. Forgive me for thinking you might be a poster who could answer a question "What has he reported inaccurately". But you won't. I'm sure you're aware that Dobbs walked out of CNN in 1999 (approx) because they didn't like him being critical of Clinton.
The floor is yours, to spread your propaganda. I don't engage trolls. Have at it.
I will NEVER agree with you. I happen to believe that Mr. Dobbs has every right to state his political opinions on his show - just like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have the right to express their opinions on their shows. And none of them should have to fear being hanged for their opinions, either.
Tell me...what other Taliban-like theories do you have about political discourse in this country?
Well Bush deserves to be bashed on many, many issues. Education is certainly one of them.
He is not a conservative and is not worthy of our support.
Bush or Dobbs?
Why blame Dobbs for talking about an issue that the Republicans in the Senate and Whitehouse could solve?
Instead of actually trying to implement policies favored by conservatives and the vast majority of Americans, Bush has actually dug in and continues to encourage illegal immigration.
Bush could solve this issue tomorrow by having the IRS, ICE and other agencies crack down on businesses that employ illegals. Can't blame the democrats for that - those laws are already on the books but Bush refuses to enforce them.
I noticed no one answered your question. Heather Mac Donald wrote of this in "National Review":
Postmodern Rights en Los Estados Unidos
She writes:
Unlike political protesters of the past, the illegal-alien marchers invoked no legal basis for their claims. Their argument boils down to: "We are here, therefore we have a right to the immigration status we desire."
In one stroke, the border-breaking lobby has nullified the entire edifice of American immigration law and with it, sovereignty itself.
No law has the power to confer illegal status on an alien law-breaker, they (the pro-illegal backers) say. Therefore, the existing laws are void simply because the illegal aliens and their supporters do not like them, not because Congress has decided to withdraw them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So it boils down to this clown trying to impose a falsehood - that illegal immigration is a non-term - through threats of mob rule and the bold arrogance that the pro-illegal socialists seem to regard as acceptable behavior. Part of their bullying includes forcing people to accept their definitions and terms in order to skew the average citizen from logic and reason. Hence we hear them say "pro-choice" instead of "pro-infanticide", "differently abled" rather than "handicapped" and "undocumented workers" for "illegal aliens".
The entire premise of "political correctness" is, in itself, a successful scheme to make individuals conform to unnatural thinking and actions through the tyranny of non-deserved guilt and fear of ostracization. America's public schools and liberal colleges have been proactively instilling this Pavlovian response for nearly half a century. - NRT
