Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Whoa, nobody is criticizing you or your opinions. They are criticizing only the generals. Who better to offer opinion then those who were there. If we are able to tolerate all of the garbage we have let the Left say, then we should be able to tolerate views different from ours on the Right.

Actually, Barry Mccaffery offered that he had been wrong about the "Battle for Baghdad," still thought the number of troops was too little at the time, but was optimistic on the future of Iraq.

I don't recall the NYT complaining about not enough troops when we went to war in Kosovo.

Someone in our town who writes frequent letters to the editor supporting conservative candidates suggests that everyone vote for the non-incumbent this year, regardless of party. Bring on term limits!

IF I recall correctly .. didn't some generals/lawyers put a stop on taking out Bin Laden when we could in the beginning of the Afghan war when we had the opportunity to bomb him??

Tom McInnery is a nice man, but he is a legend in his own mind. He offered his plans to bomb Iran recently on Fox TV. Don't tell me you think that is an appropriate venue for his "plan".

Ratings for our entire Govt is at all-time low ... This country is sorely in need of a giant broom to sweep out all the dust and debris and start fresh.

Yep and yep. Clinton found a way to save lots of money using the National Guard and the over-utilization of the Guard has continued since. My Wis. Air Guard unit was called up for both Iraqi conflicts, after I retired, regrettably.

What I never hear in the "not enough troops" argument is WHO they think we needed. You don't just stick bodies in the mix?? Do they think we need more Armor, Light Infantry, Heavy Infantry, Special Ops??? Who else would you send???

I actually heard one "arm chair general" - don't remember who, say that we needed more trops trained to fight the terrain, when it was the 10th Mountain there. He knew better he just wanted to talk. Those who know nothing about the military, how it is organized, and how it fights will buy the garbage

Signaling a possible shake-up among President Bush's senior advisers, the new White House chief of staff told top presidential aides Monday to expect changes that "refresh and re-energize the team." He invited anyone who is thinking of leaving before year's end to do so now.

The latest Gallup poll shows Congressional Approval at a 12 year low.

"A majority of Republicans, as well as most independents and Democrats, disapprove of the job Congress is doing today. Only 37% of Republicans approve, compared with 19% of independents and 13% of Democrats"

http://poll.gallup.com/content/?ci=22435

Just how in the heck does that become a Democrat takoever in Nov. How can Newt and others believe that, with 13% approval rating, the Democrats are going to even keep their seats?

Actually I do. I think it's a great way of telling the Iranians that serious folks with the SecDef's ear believe we have to do it. I personally think we have to do it. Let them believe it. Right now, we've got to use the stick on Iran. Maybe later they'll listen to carrots. Then again, maybe not.
