American soldiers kill a kamikaze in the east of Afghanistan
JALALABAD (Afghanistan) - American soldiers cut down Wednesday the driver of a booby-trapped car which tried to slip into their convoy in the east of Afghanistan, one learned near the Afghan and American authorities.
The American army, questioned in Kabul, indicated that the bomb did not make casualties and caused only minor property damages.

Tuesday morning, two American soldiers were wounded in the explosion of an artisanal bomb in the Afghan province of Zabul, in the south-east of the country, but their lives are not in danger, indicated Wednesday evening the American army in Kabul.
The two men were wounded in the morning of April 18 and were evacuated towards a hospital of countryside of the coalition, specified lieutenant Tamara Lawrence, adding that they were in a stable state.

Maybe this was a decoy for the real thing headed at the same time to the US Embassy.
I suggest that the only use of the words "cut down" in this venue should be as in, "The gutless, dirty, turbin-wearing terrorist was cut down by the American soldiers after having been left hanging for a month drenched in pig fat in the town square as a warning against further bombing attempts."
