A "small world" ping.
Good catch. Next, I suppose we'll find that he's on the Pulitzer Prize Committee.
And the irony about them salivating over Valerie Plame, while not looking at a real intelligence leak, is predictable.
Aren't these scum what used to be called the fifth column?
I AM SHOCKED I TELL YOU!/sarcasm on.
Incestuous.
Maybe they should call it the "Santa Cruz Post"?
Well, ain't that special?!!!
Ecuador RPCV Randolph 'Ry' Ryan was a crusader for Peace
snip
Mr. Ryan also won other prizes, including a Eugene Pulliam Editorial Writing Fellowship in 1989.
After leaving the Globe in 1996, Mr. Ryan worked in Bosnia first as a spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, then as a political analyst for the private International Crisis Group, and then helped to train Yugoslav journalists for the International Research and Exchange Board.
In 2000, he helped plan the UN's special session on social development, held in Geneva, and he had since been a senior fellow at the Center for International Policy. There, according to Goodfellow, the center director, the two teamed up to help derail the Bush administration appointment of Otto Reich, one of those they felt put out erroneous information in Central America.

I am glad they told me.
I would love to express how I really feel about these people.
Another post here made a pretty good case for Wilson getting his orders from McCarthy for his trip to Niger. Conveniently, McCarthy chose to leak her info to Priest who's husband has ties to Wilson. It's a cozy little circle, don't you think?
So?
If I were interested in Dana Priest at all, I'd wonder how Mary McCarthy feels about asking her for a character reference.
Wonder how the CIA might feel about hubby giving the defrocked spook a spot at the CIP? Now, that would be interesting.
It doesn't get any better ping
Dana Priests Husband Gets Joe Wilson Media Gigs. . .
Ping
Inbreds!!
Dana Priest's husband, the very far left William Goodfellow, has been a supporter of Marxist causes for years and received deserved opprobrium for his support of the Cambodian Khmer Rouge. His CIP was a hang-out for the very left wing Anthony Lake who, thanks to an infrequent Republican revolt, was deep sixed in 1997 and blocked from taking over the NSC during the Clinton administration. Priest, Goodfellow, Lake, the Khmer Rouge -- not much to choose from.
As so often, good work.
