"The Right To Keep and Bear Arms: Safeguarding our Freedoms from a Socialist Political Agenda"

Featuring - Sam Paredes, Executive Director of Gun Owners of California (http://www.gunownersca.com)

Sam Paredes' Biography - A California native, Sam Paredes has lived his life as a rugged individual American. From his parents, Sam learned the merit of hard work, perseverance, honesty and integrity. Encouraged and inspired by his parents to pursue higher education, Sam attended Pepperdine University on scholarship. To offset his tuition costs, Sam worked his way through college. While at Pepperdine he met his future wife, Laurie. Sam graduated in 1978 with a degree in political science and then studied at the Foundation for Economic Education in New York, where his free-market philosophical perspectives were shaped and refined. Sam and Laurie married in 1978 and settled in the Los Angeles area. In 1980, they seized an opportunity to move to Northern California, and Sam began doing fieldwork for Gun Owners of California. Several years later he became executive director of the gun rights organization. In 1985, Sam was appointed by Governor George Deukmejian as Deputy Director of the Office of Business Development, and later, to the Office of Local Development. One of the few individuals to be appointed by both administrations, Sam also served Governor Pete Wilson as Director of California’s Enterprise Zone Program. In 1995, Sam left state service to start his own manufacturing business. Endorsed by such notable conservatives as Dr. James Dobson, Gary Bauer and Sen. H.L. Richardson, Sam ran unsuccessfully for a CA State Assembly seat in 1998. In 1998, Sam returned to serve as Executive Director of Gun Owners of California and is a member of the Board of Directors of Gun Owners of America and Gun Owner Foundation.

The democraps will pry my weapons from my cold dead hands. God Bless this guy. I have spent almost the last 20 years of my life defending the right of Americans to bear arms and I will be damned if the f'n traitorous dims are going to take that away.

The Rats can try all they want to get rid of our guns, but that would be the end our nation, it would be a civil war that the world had never seen.

No one takes my guns!

Then we go out in a blaze of glory.

I'd say now is a good time to think about purchasing side arms and rifles. May 1st is fast approaching and there is no telling what the Marxist Reconquista leaders will goad their illegal proletarian followers into doing to further the larger goals of the revolution.

AZ is an open carry state. It's amazing how polite people are when you do.

We'll still need 'em. We tend to grow our own bad guys. We call 'em Congressmen.
