This is the partial transcript of a question and answer session held Saturday in Chamblee with Congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney. She regularly holds such sessions in her district. This session was taped by CBS 46 news. .
Question: has anyone asked you about your confrontation with the Capitol police officer?
Answer: Actually you, media, are the only ones who are asking about that.
Question: I'm sure you thought about this potentially someone might ask you about this, outside of the media, about the confrontation what would your response be, how do you explain it to the people of DeKalb County?
Answer: Well, actually no one has asked me other than you and so... I talk to my constituents about the things that are on their minds...
Question: Do you think the incident will affect your chances for re-election?
Answer: You're talking about the incident I'm talking about issues.
Question: You want to talk about issues, has the confrontation made it harder for you to focus on the issues? Has it been a distraction?
Answer: You're a distraction because that seems to be all you want to talk about but people here understand that my representation is much larger than any discreet incident
OFF CAMERA, WITH MIKE STILL ON:

Cindy's a real piece of work. (She certainly isn't a piece of anything else....except maybe a POS).

Amazingly enough, even the liberal Democratic press will toss a liberal Dem under the bus at a certain point.
McKinney is getting the same treatment that Barbara Rose Collins got from her media (Detroit) once Collins' excesses were known. Collins didn't get her party's nomination in the next election. She now occupies a spot on the Detroit City Council, and you see how well that is going!
Of course, the issues here are race and gender. McKinney and Collins are black females, as are Maxine Watters and Sheila Jackson Lee. If a liberal Jewish white guy tried half of the things, and committed half of the public boners, he'd have the plug pulled on him long before that. If a conservative... okay, you know that one. The press is reluctant to pull the plug on these ladies because of the possibility of being charged with sexism and racism. These ladies' voters are reluctant to find another candidate for fear that they will lose the next election.
And by insulating these individuals from scrutiny, they give immense and unintended help to our side. They make it much harder for the left to dodge its own crazies, and they keep a nice big NUTHOUSE sign over the whole Democrap party.
Thanks MSM! We really appreciate it!
I hope all is well with you. It's been a while since I posted here. Nice to see you're around.
I was happy to see you too, I knew it had been awhile.
I'd like to introduce you to Ken In Eastman. I remember I used to reply to you thinking it was him. DOH!! Eastman GA a long way from Chappaqua!
Heh Ken, Good to see you around. Hope you are doing well. Cynthia seems to be in self destruct mode, and I hope she keeps it up.
