Given a choice of Nagin or Landrieu, I would have voted for Nagin. I think that is what is in play here. Nagin may be incompetent and whiney, but he won't rip off the people of the city as much as another from THAT family will.

When the choice in the runoff is between Nagin and a Landrieu, that city is really sick. It is a perfect example of the corruption in LA.

It's actually going to a runoff between Nagin and, get this, Mitch Landrieu, son to former Mayor Moon Landrieu and brother to current Senator Mary Landrieu. This is as funny as a soap opera.
