This is a very disturbing situation that needs more attention. Dispite the fact that is comes from DU we need to get this story out. No need for another Terry Schiavo case.

What a sad case.
Sounds a little fishy to me. I'm not so sure a hospital can do that, not without going thru the proper channels, an appeal, etc.
I live in Houston, and I heard this story (almost exactly as reported) on the radio. So, I think it is correct.
