'Tangible proof' al-Qaida deploying nukes (Bombshell presentation)

A terrorism symposium featuring leading experts will begin with presentation of "tangible proof" al-Qaida not only has developed an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons but also has begun to deploy them for use in its jihad against the United States and Israel.

Paul L. Williams, author of "The Al Connection" and "The Dunces of Doomsday," will present his findings at the National Press Club in Washington at the conclusion of a public debate with Wall Street Journal correspondent Richard Miniter on al-Qaida's nuclear weaponry.

The debate, Friday at 10 a.m., will be moderated by Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard and regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. The public is invited to attend.

The organizers say the event is timely, "with increased anxiety over demands for a pullout from Iraq, the nuclear developments in Iran and North Korea, the failure of our government to secure the borders and our country's fledgling, incomprehensive effort at homeland security."

Epstein believes the majority of Americans disapprove of both the "cut-and-run policy" proposed by many leading Democrats and the "compassionate conservative" approach of the Bush administration, favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."

"I am convinced that the threat we are currently facing from radical Islam greatly surpasses that which was posed by the Third Reich," Epstein said.

Anyone interested in attending, Epstein added, should contact America's Truth Forum at its website or by calling 866-709-3474.

The event offers the following speakers (continued):

Sorry, I just re-read your post and realized I probably took it wrong. If so, please forgive.

One of the major constraints of our nuclear weapons is that they could be carried by an aircraft or missile. However if you deliver it in an 18 wheeler ....

Or by boat, up into a snug harbor....

I feel like an idiot that I can't access the D.C. Freepers from FR. I've tried and still can't find them. Wanted to ping them to this thread in case some of them can attend. Do you know how to find them?

Right here. Thanks for thinking of us. I'm not sure if I can attend. I'll let the chapter know.

"If they had them, they would have used them. "

I agree. I'm just not buying it. Not to say they will never have nukes, but if they had them now we would find out about it in the worst way, and not by reading about it lol.

Their ultimate orgasm would be to hit Israel & the US simultaneously and that's been a fear of mine for a long time.

"If they had them, they would have used them."

Wrong.

What most don't understand is the fundamental method of waiting that enemies of the West employ. They aren't going to blow the wad until the target is sufficiently tenderized. They'll allow time and pressure to grind down the mountain. The Islamofascists spent years planning their 9/11 savagery. Compared to a nuclear attack on the West, 9/11 was small beans. When they're ready, they'll initiate their attacks and begin implementing their plans for the West's destruction. Complacency will enable them to kill multitudes more.

AQ's typical MO is a double attack: one initial attack, then a second attack on the same target (or *VERY* nearby*) to kill as many first responders as possible.

The first herds the crowd where they want them, (think embassies in Africa), the second, of greater magnitude, does the damage.

In the embassy bombings, the first, smaller explosions lured the curious to the windows to see what happened outside. The second, a larger explosion, blew those windows in, shredding those closest to the blast, and inflicting far more shrapnel injuries than a single larger bomb would have by virtue of the people being near the windows instead of dispersed throughout the structure.

AQ is diabolical enough to do similar things on a larger scale, given the right material to work with.

Response? We can wish and speculate all we want, but short of the elimination of the perpetrators homelands and religious sites, nothing will be fully effective. The determination of responsibility may take a little time, but our retaliatory capability is durable, and despite downsizing, was designed for MAD scenarios.

I would also caution that Cold War scenarios and simulations of WWIII started by 'rogue' nations with nukes should be dusted off and reworked, as well (if they have not been already).

It is entirely possible that the people who have fed the nuclear programs in N. Korea, Iran, and elsewhere (i.e. Russia and China) fully plan to take advantage of any harm done us while distancing themselves from the first strike.

Did you type this while whistling "Don't Worry be Happy"?
2, 3, 4 major cities? How many major cities would it take to get you excited? Our border situation is a disgrace, stop trying to excuse it.

It doesn't even have to be Al Queda bringing them in by eighteen wheeler through the desert in the middle of the night, just some entity who knows we will blame Al Queda.
