"They complied with the existing laws at the time."

I'll type slower for you.

There were no existing laws to comply with. They came the same way that illegals come today.

It's common to cite sources when you copy (nearly) entire articles as you did.

I find it amusing that you are lecturing on ethics of law, and scoffing at ethics.

When was the last time you tried hiring a dishwasher for a restaurant?

It's a rather simple question.

I have never called in the mods, so I don't know what you're talking about.

If you find ourself intimidated by me, that's has more to do with your self-image than anything else, I simply take posts and extend them to their logical ends.

If you believe that a construction worker (unskilled labor) should earn $1,200/week, what do you consider a fair wage for skilled labor?

It's a sliding scale...the more skills the job requires, the higher you get paid.

Now, get a hold of your emotions and answer the simple question.

There's also the added benefit of increased sales via replacement vehicles.

I believe that well over 200,000 cars are stolen and never recovered yearly.

There were no existing laws to comply with. They came the same way that illegals come today.

An obvious falsehood. There are laws to comply with today so they don't come the same way.

Listen, I haven't posted anything that's not a simple fact, if you want to engage in trading insults, move along...I'm not interested.

If you want to understand how all this works, I can help.

If you simply want to post mindless rants and spew vitriol go right ahead...just leave me out of it.

In other words...more government crap.

Yet, we all believe that the solution lies with the government, and more laws.

Answer it then.

If you raise the bottom pay scale in society, then you must raise the top as well.

It's simple economics.

Unskilled labor jobs will always be the bottom of the earnings scale...whether that bottom is $15/hour or $30/hour is irrelevant because the top will move up right along with the bottom...as will prices and the cost of living.

Obvous falsehood?

Only to the purposedly obstinate.

They came the same way, without pre-approval, they entered differently because approval was granted at the point of entry.

Read up on history.

A wall that American citizens build can be torn down by American citizens.

You said that Irish immigrants came the same way as today's immigrants. You also said that their were no immigration laws to comply with when the Irish came. That is the history that you established for your point. But there are laws to comply with today so it is not the same no matter how obstinate you are about it.
