Because, even if the corruption is egregious, freedom of speech allows the electorate to a.) become aware of the problem and b.) do something about it.
Free speech vs "clean government" is a false choice. It is possible to have both. Indeed, it is more likely with free speech than without.
McCain is an opportunistic ass.
It makes perfect sense if you allow the governement and only the government the ability to define "clean"
Don't forget his description of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth either. He has never recanted those words, that I have heard.
That he can label the Swiftees as "dishonest and dishonorable" while not condemning sKerry's attacks and lack of forthrightness about his records is what I find as "dishonest and dishonorable"
Allen will handle himself fine in primetime, hes a great charismatic speaker and almost everyone who sees him in person will agree. Problem is with people like you is that you have your predispositions toward him and don't like him so you only see what you want to see. Stay blind to the truth, Your candidates (RINOS) have no chance of beating ALlen when it comes to the issues so you take personal shots at him in hopes of dragging him down. That page i pasted is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to romney, try watching his 1996 debate with ted kennedy, he comes off as a huge flaming rino. Even rush on his tv show back then ripped romney to shreds over it.
Rudy is even more of a rino than romney and he knows he'll get eaten alive in a republican primary. Were not nominating a pro gay, pro illegal, pro gay, pro gun control, adultering northeastern republican.
Sounds as if Romney is worse than Rudy, on the social issues, abortion, RKBA, Govt Medical, gay infestation.

My husband saw a poll, three candidates, one democrat, one republican and one third party with a strong enforcement on immigration laws.
The results showed, the democrats tied with the third party candidate, and the Republicans lost big time. The republicans have screwed themselves up really bad with this issue. It is unfortunate, but true.
Build a wall today, and start town by town deporting these people. When you are obese, you must start losing weight with the first pound. We have a similar problem here. Gotta start now and today. Build the wall and send them home.
