The Media heads, everyone, would be calling them racists or TV and taking the opportunity to slam a racist group. Guilfoyle would have been saying - NO, you SHUT UP and listen to me. YOU are spreading HATE and you should be ashamed, why don't you crawl back under the rock you came from. You have no business being involved in this case and that's why we have courts and Judges - this is America.
Most everyone here should be aware that a White Hate group or a White separatist group would be absolutely killed on TV and the papers (and by the DA and authorites). If this had been a white group (listed a hate group).. The Governor and the Mayor would've have tried to prevent the protest from happening. Appeals would be made to the Federal Gov't to provide the National Guard. Reporters would've asked the President, if he was going to intervene to protect the civil rights of the accused rapists and to secure our way of life - Justice for all, INNOCENT until proven Guility.
Shabaz, said on a Friday Radio interview (WPTF- 0680 AM) that he was going to meet with Mike (Yes, the DA on a first name basis) and that they were pretty much on the same page. Shabaz said he looked for more charges to come down in this case. The white Radio host (Kevin Miller), asked Shabaz if he could come along with him Monday and Shabaz said okay - but there are certain places you will not be allowed. Kevin Miller said "Why's that?", and Shabaz said you will have to be watched.
Can anyone seriously imagine a Press being civil (and some friendly) when racist comments are made like this? Shabaz also has said in many interviews that the alleged Victim is, by Nature, a Divine Queen because she is a black sister.
Again, how would a White Hate group leader be received if they made comments like all White Men are Divined Kings by Nature or white women. Shabaz also parroted Jesse Jackson's racist comments that Rape is, largely, a white male problem (which stats don't support) and that White men have throughout the history of this country have raped and sexually assaulted black women. IF anybody wants to support that statement - then could it be said that BLACK Men, throughout the history of this country, have beaten black women.
You see my point. In some cases both are true, but if one wants to take some cases from various points in history and apply them in a damning, sweeping statement you can say a lot of things. Throughout the history of this country, White men have paid higher taxes so black men don't have to work. Again, there's as much truth there as there are in the racist statements that the Media let go every day without challenging.
Yes, the New Black Panther party is listed as a Hate group. They have called White people - blue eyed devils. They have called for people to rise up by whatever means necessary and take what "our people" deserve. They have stated that White people are racist by nature and that White people oppress any group they encounter - and they state these things as facts.

Nah. Shabazz is a hustler. He's a lawyer and runs an....om....well....."organization" of black lawyers called "Black Lawyers for Justice."
Follow the money. Shabazz and his boys are there for the lawsuit against Duke.

I never knew how that ended. What did they reap?
I just can't believe that this man who calls himself a major university president--the man who has hung these young men and in fact the entire lacrosse team out to dry--would even consider allowing these thugs on campus. I can only guess that his reputation has taken a beating for going so PC, so he is allowing them in to do and say what he would like to say himself. He want Duke's PCness out in the open and on the record. I hope that enrollments sharply drop, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I would be worried about sending a child of mine to a place like that!
Anyone listening to the Major of Durham on Fox, William "Bill" Bell?
He's claiming the Black Panthers will cause no problem, it's their right to be in Durham (true) and that he doesn't anticipate they will be armed.
As he's saying that, Fox is showing pics of some panthers carrying weapons. More burying of heads in the sand from elected officials.
Those are file pics. Latest update from FNC is that there are about 20 NBP members congregating. Good news for Duke. Looks like Shabazz isn't all that threatening after all.
UNC reaped the Muslim crazy who mowed down students. My point being, PC never really accomlishes its mission: it draws calls of discrimination, means-spiritedness etc rather than bringing peace and harmony. It encourages resentment, and the latter, as Nietzsche noted long ago, is the pivot-emotion of the striving-talentless (Friedrich put it a little differently here, to be sure).
The Duke president is doing what he's doing because, quite literally, he has no choice. The U has been so PC for so long, and unambiguously so, that he can only bend over and greet the Panthers; he can quiver about "arms on campus," but that is a side issue.

A sit-in movement had been planned for quite some time by the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), under the leadership of John Lewis. The Greensboro Four beat them to the punch; unled, untrained, and inexperienced, they took it on themselves to challenge the system.
