L.A. FOX 11 Tony Valdez - "You killed people to take this country for yourselves" (Audio #289)
John and Ken show ^ | 5-1-06 | dfu

Posted on 05/01/2006 6:26:27 PM PDT by doug from upland

Local Fox News in Los Angeles, Channel 11, had an incredible exchange in a segment with John and Ken. J & K were chastizing the press for not showing the other side about all the costs of illegal aliens.

There was a difference of opinion between FOX personnel and John and Ken about the effect of the boycott.

And then there was an amazing statement, actually a monologue for news reporter Tony Valdez. Rather than posing a question to John and Ken, he launched into the whole Reconquista argument, talking about Manifest Destiny and U.S. invasion of Mexico in 1846. He talked about how this country took this part of the world by force and how they do that in Iraq and Iran.

And then this news reporter, news reporter mind you, said, "You took this country. You killed people to take this country for yourselves."

Fox 11 needs to hear from us.

I found it interesting that the news stations sent Latino-looking people to these marches.

Anybody more "white-looking" and asking questions might've gotten mugged.

I just heard that reconquista spew replayed on John and Ken. Amazing. I didn't realize it was a reporter at first, I thought it was one of the Communists or anarchists from the boycott rally, until J&K mentioned Tony Valdez by name. Too bad it wasn't video, we could have seen Tony pumping his fist in the air as he was defecating on the US.

Doug,

Fox 11 will hear from me, and I thought that Sam Houston drove out the Mexican Banditos and murderers that had been killing Texican women and children. What was that Bandito's name,... oh yeah, Santa Ana.

If we could go back in time and just let the Mexicans have what they now call Aztlan, it would be no better off than the rest of Mexico and we would still have millions of illegals coming accross our southern Nebraska border.

His pictures makes him look like an evil bast*rd. This is his official bio:

Tony Valdez

Veteran broadcast journalist Tony Valdez is a general assignment reporter specializing in reporting breaking news, crime and minority affairs for KTTV FOX 11’s top-rated FOX 11 10 O'clock News. Valdez joined the station in June 1980, and served as weekend news anchor from November 1991 to January 1993.

Valdez profiles criminal suspects and missing persons in L.A.’s Most Wanted, a weekly news segment that has become Los Angeles’ longest running and most successful law enforcement segment. L.A.’s Most Wanted has resulted in the arrest and surrender of more than 100 suspects since January 1992.

Since 1988, Valdez has hosted Midday Sunday, an Emmy-winning weekly public affairs forum that examines local and national issues along with current headline news and news makers. In 1992, Midday Sunday was lauded with a Los Angeles area Emmy Award as best Public Affairs Series (Studio-based).

Valdez is the recipient of numerous Emmy, Golden Mike and Los Angeles Press Club awards, including a 1990 local Emmy in the category of Best News Reporting for his examination of Los Angeles street gangs. He has been cited by several community and government organizations, including the Criminal Justice Panel of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for community service in 1995, the Los Angeles City Council for community contributions in 1994 and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, which lauded his support of the Earthquake Preparedness Program with a public service commendation in February 1991.

Prior to joining Fox 11, Valdez was a writer, producer and reporter at KTLA from 1975-1980. Before working at KTLA, he worked at KCET and several Los Angeles radio stations as a reporter. He also worked for La Opinion and The Herald Examiner.

Valdez’ career as a Los Angeles-based journalist has included coverage of the war in Southeast Asia and the political turmoil in Central America.

A native of Los Angeles, Valdez attended Los Angeles City College and California State Northridge.

He is also a veteran of the United States Army.

Mexico was the one who sent killer banditos up here in the first place... and they got their government supported a**es kicked all the way back to Mexico City. The we took the land, gave them their POS capitol back, and paid them $15,000,000 (1846 dollars) for the trouble.

"Mexican officials and Nicholas Trist, President Polk's representative, began discussions for a peace treaty that August. On February 2, 1848 the Treaty was signed in Guadalupe Hidalgo, a city north of the capital where the Mexican government had fled as U.S. troops advanced. Its provisions called for Mexico to cede 55% of its territory (present-day Arizona, California, New Mexico, and parts of Colorado, Nevada and Utah) in exchange for fifteen million dollars in compensation for war-related damage to Mexican property.

Other provisions stipulated the Texas border at the Rio Grande (Article V), protection for the property and civil rights of Mexican nationals living within the new border (Articles VIII and IX), U.S. promise to police its side of the border (Article XI), and compulsory arbitration of future disputes between the two countries (Article XXI). When the U.S. Senate ratified the treaty in March, it deleted Article X guaranteeing the protection of Mexican land grants. Following the Senate's ratification of the treaty, U.S. troops left Mexico City."

"You took this country. You killed people to take this country for yourselves."

Nobody is that old to have done any of that. However, the speaker is no doubt aware that his ancestors on his native side also killed people to take the country for themselves. And ate them and wore their skins.

I saw the interview on FOX 11 and and after they cut away from Valdez and back to the in-studio anchors, you could see Christine Devine's mouth still wide open with her lower jaw flat on the desk........she had this look of utter disbelief on her face.

The other anchor, John Beard, was in the middle of a fit of laughter.

His pictures makes him look like an evil bast*rd.

Just my opinion...but during my decade in West Los Angeles,
Valdez always portrayed the affable Hispanic reporter-guy.

Hearing that he had an Atzlan-ignition moment on-camera tells me
we've got to redouble the effort to protect the country from the
invasion force.

Because Valdez seemed such a reasonable guy on-camera for years...
you can't tell how what percentage of all the other illegals
(and legals like Valdez!) think this way.

Regretably, the only reasonable policy is to assume "most of them"
and act accordingly to protect our country from being inundated by
this invasion force.

And what does this Tony Valdez have to say about how Spain and Portugal rampaged over and conquered Latin America? From Mexico south to Argentina. Lets face facts. Latin nations are failed nations. It sucks to live in the former colonies of Spain and Portugal so guess what. They want to jam into this Anglo founded nation. England once ruled us. Our linage is Anglo-English while the lineage of Latin America is Spanish-Portuguese

You know, the Native American Aztecs slaughtered the surrounding tribes, and the things they did to their prisoners of war (before killing them) are emblazoned on the pottery they made afterward.

No one has clean hands. As the immortal Bono once sang (before becoming too busy nagging us for handouts to sing) "Throw a rock in the air, you'll hit someone guilty."

You apparently never caught his Sunday show then. He's been spewing this crap, but in a more subdued way, for as long as I've been aware of him. I guess station management figured it was "safe" to have him tucked away on a Sunday segment nobody but radical Reconquistas watched.

Speaking of nutzo, did anyone else catch Whorealdo on O'Reilly? He showed his true stripes and O'Reilly took him to the woodshed pretty good. I'm writing Ailes to ask that Rivera be fired for jumping on the pro-Hispanic/Illegal bandwagon. Fair and balanced my arse!

I guess that Tony didn't know that the good old USA actually paid Mexico $15,000,000 for the land after we won the Mexican-American War in 1846, which was certainly generous of us. That was quite a chunk of change for mostly empty land because Mexico had never bothered to settle it for fear of the Apaches and Comanches. There's a lot of their history that Mexicans don't know.

The long term plan:

Europeans should voluntarily and willingly want to go home to their homeland, Europe, so that we can be completely free from Europeans.

We should be teaching the Europeans on our continent their proper shame.

The real border of these European squatters-illegals is at the Atlantic Ocean. Their homeland is Europe.

These are "White" people who are on our continent. Europeans can call themselves "Canadian" or "American" but their homeland is still Europe and they are still trespassing on our continent.

I think you've nailed it.
I probabaly caught that Sunday show ONCE during a decade. And there
was a bit of the "our people" rhetoric. But I just took it as,
well, Tony Valdez has to say it if he wants to have lunch in this town.
With either fellow Latinos/Hispanics and rich white Liberals.

I think most of the segments I saw with him were on Saturday night
news when he was doing the "crimestoppers" stories about some unsolved
Los Angeles crime or (much less often) a retrospective about some
Los Angeles history.
