Too bad, it was a very good movie. You're entitled to see any movie you want and so are we.
Go stand on your soapbox on another corner. We tend to idolize our heroes in the United States. The movie was a tribute to the victims.

The wife I had at age 29 probably would've doubled my insurance for me and cut the brake lines.

Sorry about this but ... hindsight is always 20/20 and additional attention is always welcomed when remembering loved ones. This is someone embellishing the hero.
Not necessarily. It's hard to say just from a news article, but prophecy is a real thing. Kind of a pentecostal thing for a baptist to say, but I've seen enough to know that it has happened before.

With the very short and rather bland posting history, and the liberal talking point repeated verbatim, our friend does make one want to start sniffing the air for the smell of ozone. Oh, I did the same thing at DU so I wouldn't get tombstoned. (Still haven't - heh.)

Personally I don't see what is wrong with making a profit. The filmmakers put blood, sweat, and tears into the movie--they should reep the benefits. They've also performed a public service--they have made as close to an historical count of that day as they could. I was alive during that time, but I'm sure when I see the movie I will learn things about that day. Also, I believe it honors the people of Flight 93 to remember them. I would want my family member remembered.

Hee hee!
Then your premonition would have been right on the spot!!
To: The Phantom FReeper
Yeah, I guess you're right, it's more fun to play with them for a while.

But I will pay to see Ice Age instead so the makers of this movie don't get any of my money. That's really strange.

It's a WAR, you idgit.....movie makers were making PRO-American WAR movies DURING WWII....how OLD are YOU? AND, furthermore, it's a true story....

Everyone has had instances when they were thinking about someone, the phone rings, and it is the person they were thinking of. It seems too remarkable to be a coincidence, until you realize that countless times a day the phone rings and it isn't someone you were thinking about. Those times don't stick out in your mind.
Out of all the thousands of people who were directly impacted by 9/11, of course some of them had "premonitions" of impending death. If you were to pick at randon several thousand people today, it is likely that some of them would also have premonitions of impending death.

Why is it strange beaversmom? When I pay for a United 93 ticket the makers of it get money. But if I pay for Ice age instead and walk into the 93 theater, then Ice Age profits instead(and Ice Age is a good movie).

and, 10% of profits are going to the families of Flight 93 (or to the Memorial) I can't remember which.

All the families of Flight 93 approved of this film. The filmmakers went to every family and asked for their approval.
To: beaversmom
Beaversmom, I did see the made for tv movie on A&E about flight 93 and I found it to be very good.

I just don't understand why you want to see a film but not give the filmmakers that made that film the dollars for it. They are the ones that deserve it.
To: JamesP81
Yes, it is true. Sometimes people do indeed see into the future, or the past.
