What I find particularily hilarious about stories like this is that they simply do not look at the reality of the situation. How many women "marry down" ??? How many times do you hear of a female orthopedic surgeon marrying a ditch digger? IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. But men "marry down" all the time (and no it's not for control as femi-nazi's would tell you). Articles like this are the epitome of whining.

AMEN! The vast majority of sitcoms and commercials insist on depicting the wife as the smart one who must constantly rescue her perpetually befuddled wimp of a husband.

As to the article - the Rabbi needs to rent a clue about what happens when young men and women with raging hormones get away from the controlling influences of their parents for the first time.

I didn't read the article--but I did see Nancy Grace on CNN advising female viewers to marry down, actually to marry "ordinary" guys who aren't handsome, so that they wouldn't cheat on the women folk....I thought it amusing.

I mean, women and men are the same , notwithstanding the obvious physical differences, right? Women shouldnt be put on a pedestal, they can do everthing a man can do, right? Marriage is an anachronism, child raising is slavery, and so on.
