He's the one who will be rotting in a cell for 23 hours a day. He'll have plenty of time to wonder why Allah hasn't saved him and we'll have plenty of time to forget that his pathetic butt ever existed.

I thought he said Bush was going to pardon him. I guess he's got Bush confused with Clinton.

Don't bet on it. France, for one, would like to extradite him "depending on how harsh his sentence is"--once there, it would just be a matter of time until he's back on the streets. Then again, if we got a 'Rat president again, even this country might release him. Especially since he had a difficult childhood and all (cue the violin music)--according to his lawyers.

I have heard that long-term prisoners in isolation slowly lose their minds, all motivation, and even their ability to communicate. Granted, Moussaoui wasn't very strong in the sanity department to begin with. Are there any people here who are familiar with people in long-term isolation who could tell us what happens to these people?

Hopefully. I'd love nothing better. But how long until some lawyer, perhaps the ones that got him off the death penalty, takes up his cause and complains that he doesn't have a prayer rug, isn't receiving food acceptable to Muslims, and that such isolation constitutes cruel and unusual punishment?

A classic case for prison justice.

Before the verdict yesterday I thought life was far worse, in this case, than death and I am an avid believer in the death penalty. BUT, in hindsight I see the error of my ways. The prisons are a breeding ground for Islam if he is in General Population, which I am hopeful they will keep him in segregation, it could be a very bad thing. Further, prisoners are treated too well in prison now days. They are allowed way too much. Granted it might be the stores they operate within the prison that uses the proceeds to pay for cable etc. but I think any income they generate ought to be returned to the system for their care not their pleasure. Courts apparently don't agree. I don't think prison should be pleasurable at all. I guess I just didn't think this through as thorouly as I should have before I shot my mouth off. I actually hope someone gets to him. My bad!!

I would certainly hope that the piece of excrement, Moussaoui, receives all of the brutal treatment necessary to pry every last shred of humint from his twisted mind. Of course, the A(merican) C(ommunist) L(osers) U(nion) etc. will no doubt keep a close watch on his situation. In the dumbed-down USA, terrorists- enemy combatants- foreign trespassers and all sorts of deviants must be afforded every consideration.

Put a web cam on him. Send in Big Leon with a jar of pork fat and let him have his bride.
