As far as I can tell, Iranians can only enrich uranium by abour 3%-4% which is far less than the ~90% needed to build a bomb. As such, they may well be a few years away from being in position to make a bomb.
The current rhetoric is primarily about driving oil prices up which hurts Bush far more politically than Iran could ever do militarily.

The Iranian navy tactic will be to attack with a swarm of small boats that will present so many targets that some are bound to get through or close enough to do some damage.
All that will be subtrafuge for the main attack that will come by relatively quiet minisubs. Their noise will be masked by all the small boats.

I'm going to assume for a minute that, in private, this jackoff knows his statements are blatently false and is only saying such things to buck up the home troops and scare the enemy. On the other hand, if he actually believes what he is saying, he will be leading his countrymen into a hellish nightmare from which many of them will never awaken.
