I drive the speed limit. It has caused a lot of near-misses in traffic, along with many people extending the universal greeting. I haven't had a speeding ticket since 1992 and intend to keep it that way to save enriching the state and my auto insurance agent. I sometimes seethe as people pass me going 20 over. I'm so envious.

The system is nuts.

I drive the speed limit.

I don't! But, I don't drive 20 over. Normally, I keep it about 5-7 over. My oldest son is a cop, and assures me that I won't get a ticket. (LOL)

They installed red light cameras first, in DC. then, they contracted to install these speed cameras. They did not post a location, nor did I see it. I just got a picture and a demand for money!

DC is all about money. There are more meter maids and men than most any city I know. They use boots to keep cars until they can be towed. They are little more than pirates!

If my dad wasn't living there, I wouldn't go back again!

I also drive the speed limit ...I don't like the idea of giving continues permission to be stopped and questioned.

Of course there was the time I was pulled over because it was "suspicious" that I was doing the speed limit ...

Government has authority over criminals ... want more authority ? ... make more criminals .. If everyone would drive the speed limit for a day or two, things would change ..
