Six term gop incumbent in trouble in wyoming?

Conservatives crash and burn strategy isn't going to send a message to the gop it will turn the whole store over to pelosi. Stay home and have a pelosi democrat elected in wyoming. That will really show them.

Pelosi might get 250 house seats if districts like wyoming are in play.

Ping! The second poll that shows Cubin vulnerable, and this seat moves up to Lean R in my estimation.

I don't know what conservative "strategy" you're talking about. Conservatives I know, including myself, should, and will, support conservative Republicans. Barbara Cubin appears to be quite conservative. I don't know why her poll numbers are not higher, but I doubt it is because she has lost support among conservatives.

I don't know why it is so hard for some to grasp the idea that many conservatives will not support liberals, even if Republican, but will strongly support conservatives, who are mostly Republican. There's nothing "crash and burn" about it. It's merely a recognition that supporting Republicans, even if they are liberal, just because they are Republican, has gotten us into a mess where the Democrats are actually stronger because they can count on the RINO votes added to theirs.

Voting for someone who shares your principles is the time honored way to secure a government "of the people". I find this superior to a government "by the party".

everytime i mention this people yell at me - well people stayed home or voted for Perot in 92 and look what that got us: AWB, a depleted military, insane AG, middle class tax increase etc etc etc
oh yeah staying home or voting for a third party Will really make it better

Another thing to remember: For the most part, a Democrat in Wyoming would be a card-carrying Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy member in DC. There just aren't very many truly liberal politicians around here.

Posted on another thread of this article:

"I think she is so close because she promised to limit herself to six terms. She was elected in 1994. Therefore she is now running for her seventh term, breaking that pledge.

That may be why she's so close. Wyoming has always struck me as a "no-nonsense" type of state."

Man, don't you know? It's all those illegal immigrants! The GOP base is so, well, angry right now. The Rats need to take over so all those those RINOs learn a lesson. What this country really needs is two years of calling Nancy Pelosi Speaker and Harry Reid majority leader. Then comes Bush impeachment proceedings, repealing the war on terror, repealing the tax cuts, blocking further judicial nominations, and other unimportant stuff. After all, nothing really matters to the angry people except immigration.
