When a news story breaks over a holiday weekend like Cinco de Mayo, you have to accept that newsrooms will be slow to pick it up... < /sarc >

"Reacting to the news on Friday, Wilson declined to deny the allegation, suggesting instead that it no longer mattered who first outed his wife."

WTF, this is what he was claiming the whole thing was about in the first place and he's continued with this absurd claim.

.... and don't miss some of the other developments that add to the picture of the VIPS - CIP - Joe Wilson cabal to smear the Bush administration and undermine US national security:

Yes, you see, this all depends upon what your definition of "is" is.

"The last I heard, this is case is about allegations Mr. Libby lied, perjured himself before the FBI, special prosecutor and grand jury and obstructed justice," he told CNN in a statement. "None of those charges of which he's been indicted has anything to do with me."

Joe's missing the point: It could also be about whether Wilson committed perjury.

But I thought many lives were put in danger by this vicious political attack, Joe. That couldn’t have been ridiculous hyperbole, could it?

And we also know (via recent breathless media pronouncements) that America’s entire effort to monitor Iran’s nukes completely fell apart after Valerie’s “cover” was blown? Surely the person who did that should rot in jail forever, right Joe?

Boy, I sure hope we fry that scumbag if we ever get our hands on him.

This guy is as low as a child molester. He has set events in motion that he is now trying to extricate himself from..

At least, unlike Helen 'Battleaxe' Thomas and other loony leftys, Valerie Plame is hot.

This investigation is dead in the water. Fitz will be looking for the door now. His future career as Attorney General in a Geena Davis Administration has been cruelly smothered in its crib.

Will anyone be bringing charges against Plame and Wilson for the trouble they've caused over the last couple of years? For the fake Niger investigation? For the incessant "Bush lied" charges? For the open politicization at CIA? For the attempt to bring down a sitting president in time of war?

Wilson declined to deny the allegation, suggesting instead that IT NO LONGER MATTERED WHO FIRST OUTED HIS WIFE.

The only people it ever mattered to was the
DEM Media! Who really cared what her career
job was before she quit her job and had twins?
The two occupations were years apart.
