Bayh: "We aren't ALL dumbass weenies! No really, not all of us! OK, we are all dumbass weenies but some of us still feel a vacant sense of regret about our weeniehood!"

Extremely doubtful a Bayh style "New New Democrat" candidate could win the 2008 Democrat Primary. Most of the Democrat faithful are totally pissed cause they think their leadership is, no fooling, too "friendly"to the Republicans! Like us, the Democrats have their own 100%ers clans. Problem for the Dems is their 100%ers run their party.

Boy, do I agree with you on that!!! We can't let up on our efforts but there is more disarray in Democrat ranks than the press reports. The media ignores it but it’s there and growing worse all the time. From what I see here, the entire Democrat effort is based on the issues de jour, along with their hatred for Republicans. They cannot bring themselves to acknowledge a single thing being right or going well. Everything has to be wrong and bad, and it’s Bush and the Republicans who are to blame.

Typical fare for a challenger. But he hasn't really started to tell people why Hillary is a bad choice to replace Bush. There are hints here about where he will go in his campaign against Her Thighness. OTOH, if he's concluded she's unbeatable he's only campaigning for VP.

He's smooth, too. He's very close to Bill Clinton on the charm and political leanings, and he doesn't have moral problems to weigh him down.

He really needs a few little extramarital flings on the record in order to take full advantage of the liberal female's Arousal Factor, don't you think?

They'll vote for him anyway.
