I'd expect this sort of statement to come from a liberal, not a Latina. She probably has to deal with this topic all of the time with those in liberal politics. I can just hear "Whiney" Wexler asking her "How can we control those people?!? They aren't responding to the usual stuff!"
Translated her statement means "We can't seem to keep them all on the Dim plantation"
And it's true, my Latino friends tend to be VERY Christian and conservative. The others who I hung out with as a single? Well, they probably wouldn't vote anyways. Those I know today are responsible America loving citizens, not border crossing, invading, criminal illegals sapping the life from our nation.
At any rate, Hispanic culture in American society is here to stay and will continue to expand. Like those before them, it's a mixed lot, but we will be richer as a nation for their contribution (and hot women.)

Hmmm, on one hand you praise the Hispanic culture expansion because "we will be richer as a nation". On the other hand, you say that unless we get control of our borders "we will simply cease to exist as a nation".
First you praise the change then you criticize the cause (open borders) for the change. Exactly on which side of the fence are you?
My children will grow up in a very different country than the one of my youth.
I too love and enjoy the Latino people and culture.
However, I think it unhealthy demographically and politically to allow unfettered numbers of Latino's into America.
One of the things which balances and encourages fairness in America is the fact that there is parity among the cultures and races.
(In reality, the caucasian race is made up of numerous languages, cultures and people's -- and is actually more diverse as a whole than is the Latino race)
One more thing. The Spanish speaking people who immigrate to South Florida from Cuba are much more conservative and patriotic than the immigrants (mostly illegal) coming from Mexico and Central America.
Bottom line: BUILD THE WALL. SECURE THE BORDERS. STOP THE INVASION BEFORE IT's TOO LATE.
