Of 1,003 U.S. adults surveyed in a telephone poll...

If you want poll results biased towards the left, you poll "registed voters". If you want to go for broke and want it really biased you poll "adults".

"Likely voter" polls are the most accurate and even those are iffy.

This poll is meaningless.

The only person President Bush needs approval from is Jesus Christ. And based on what I know of the man, I believe he has that. Everthing else is "vanity and vexation of spirit".

If it's accurate, Bush has lost his base. (Below 30% = the base is gone)

If you don't like the latest "poll," wait 15 minutes.

Gee... I guess the MSM pollsters will have him down to negative 25% by November. What utter nonsense!

So if it goes any lower does Kerry get the Presidency??

Who cares what a biased poll says. I would rather have a leader than a poll driven President.

Of the 1,003 adults polled ....23 of them know , where Iraq is on the map , who the vice -president is , can read at a 10th grade level , have a job, or remember 9-11-01 , and get news from new media . That might put things in a little better perspective , in all these drive by polls .

POLLS have a DIRECT relationship to the MSM (ANTIQUE MEDIA) lamentations on the front pages and at the major news outlets.......I don't give a da*n about them, just like I don't give a da*n about the antique media's pronouncements.

I guess the media hacks think that Clinton is still in office when "polls", "focus groups", and 'finger-in-the-wind' politics reigned.

No one I know has abandoned the President over the next "low poll numbers" announcement. Just a bit of oversampling of DUmocrats and dead-beats and you can get whatever results you desire with a poll. I don't know anyone who's ever been called for polling, so they must be getting their results from LIEberaltown or fantasy land.

The only poll that matters doesn't happen untill November, and even after that, BUSH IS STILL PRESIDENT.

The GOP party hacks have to be really sweating this, even as they say that it's a meaningless poll.

To be quite honest, if I was surveyed right now on the president's job approval, I'd give him a negative rating, too. I'd hate to do it because I think he's done a decent job in Iraq, but this border thing is just political suicide and nobody in the administration seems to care.

We need better communication from this White House, and let's hope Tony Snow can help deliver it. The President did not lie about Iraq, has been advocating policies for years to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and bring down gas prices (that were blocked by Democrats - they are to blame if anyone), and the economy is on fire. There is no reason for this to be happening to this degree (he'd have lost points on illegal immigration but not to this degree with just that factor alone).

I think if they secure the border, that would help his rating and better still, if the government stops spending as they have been would help as well.

But I also think that the White House have refused to defend it's self from the lies, deceit of the press.

I believe that Tony Snow could raise Bush's numbers simply by calling the press at their lies and putting the record strait.

But I've always thought Snow as a nice guy. I hope he could get down and dirty when he has to.

Polls don't matter unless they have him at 45% or higher. Anything below that is a bald faced lie!

Wait until he signs an immigration bill granting amnesty. He'll be lucky to hold 20%.

Nobody believed me .. but they're heading for 25% - or maybe 24% - to prove that Bush got lower numbers than Clinton. ROTFLOL!!

When Clinton left office - his personal approval rating was 25% - I believe Bush's is still at 61%.

Soooooo .. THE POLLSTERS ARE LYING!! They use all adults (not registered or likely voters) and they oversample dems by 11-14%.
