“Though it is true that sometimes it is lawful to tolerate a lesser moral evil in order to avoid a greater evil or in order to promote a greater good," it is never lawful, even for the gravest reasons, to do evil that good may come of it (18)—in other words, to intend directly something which of its very nature contradicts the moral order, and which must therefore be judged unworthy of man, even though the intention is to protect or promote the welfare of an individual, of a family or of society in general.”

Good. I was surprised that Colombia passed this law, though. I would have expected other Latin American countries to be first, for various political reasons.

The quacks at Catholics for a Free Choice and other international abortion enthusiasts have targetted Colombia for a massive campaign of pro-abortion disinformation and agitation. Once again, the people STILL did not want abortion, so the abortion promoters rammed it through the court.

One group persistently countering his push is C-FAM:

You can cut-and-paste that address to read about C-FAM's counter-offensive and offer them your vital moral support. Pray for the prolife people of Colombia! Pray for the prolife bishops!

A beachhead from the Colombian left to go for full legalization...

Hopefully the new Congress opening on July 20th will legislate to keep abortion illegal, no ifs, ands and buts.
