I'm not at all convinced that a decline in crime was causally linked to legal abortion. At least one writer, Steve Sailer, has gone over the
Freekonomics statistics and found that "Roe-Survivor" generational cohorts actually engaged in MORE crime because Roe paradoxically boosted the illegitimacy/fatherlessness rate by blasting the stuffing out of male responsibility.
Don't take this on faith. Read it and weigh the evidence:
