In fact by 2050 the Median age in Mexico will be higher than the USA if current rends continue.

Come now, there won't BE anyone left in Mexico at this rate.

Meaning there soon will be some choice real estate opportunities down there, maybe something on the coast down near Alcapulco.

I wonder if this grand western hemisphere economic union being contemplated in the halls of power are going to do something about those onerous Mexican laws against foreigners owning precious mexican property, or will Americans be the only ones required to give away their sovereignty?

My issue with the article is calling the President a con man before he has even spoken.

Lets look at past administrations.

Carter administration, this problem was not even addressed.

Reagan administration, amnesty was granted yet laws were not enforced.

GH administration, again the problem was not addressed.

Clinton administration, not only was the problem not addressed, laws not enforced but the flood gates were opened and there was a Democrat rush to register hordes of new voters that should not have been allowed.

This administration is at minimum addressing the situation and at maximum, may very well do something we are comfortable with.

I do not disagree with you. It is high time our voices are loud and clear on the issue of illegal foreign nationals within our borders. It is high time we resolve this issue with enforcement of laws, maximum border security and plans that work well into the future.

But to call the President a con artist before he has spoken. Give me a break. This seems to be the first President in my lifetime that is really trying to reasonably address the issues.

We've seen trial balloons on a guest worker program. I want better details because, yes, I do not like what I've seen so far. And I am highly agitated everytime I hear this, " jobs Americans won't do" crap. And it is crap. I agree I would like the President to quit uttering this piece of NONSENSE.

But we are seeing some steps in the right direction due to our being vociferous. Enforcement of laws against employers. Better attempts to catch illegals. The idea of putting NG on the border.

But in the meantime, threatening to surrender the rein of power to DEMS is suicidal at best and plain stupid. Calling the President names and a con is childish. And acting like the nation is doomed if we don't get everything we want on the illegal foreign nationals problem is not sensible.

This is an issue. A major issue. But does anyone here really think the Dems will do better, hell no, they are the ones trying to register illegal voters. They are the ones who want Communist sympathizing judges on the Supreme Court. The Dems are the ones that want to retreat from the Jihad War and give aid and comfort to the enemy. The Dems want your money and an endless supply of it if they can.

I fully agree this is a time to stand firm on illegal foreign nationals in our nation. Our voices must be heard. We have to send a message that we will find the leaders that can make this nation strong going forward.

But we DO have a pretty darn good President for the most part. Of course we all have disagreements, but we are doing a heck of a lot better than during the Clinton presidency.

So lets hear what the President says Monday before we start calling him names and and a con. Lets make sure if you are unhappy we work very hard in the primaries of each state to send up candidates that will enforce our borders and beat a Dem challenger.

And this November, what candidates we have, lets show them support both to beat the far worst scenario of having Dems in power and also because they are on our team therefore we can deliver hard pressure if they do not enforce the border, lower Federal and State and local spending, defend the nation in the Jihad War and fight hard that our judiciary represents a free and Capitalist America and not drained by the followers of Marx or the lovers of Socialist Europe.

There are a lot of issues including the illegal foreign national debate that we must start getting loud on. Defense, spending, judiciary, taxation; lets work together on all of these because with the Dems we will get NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH of what we want.

What do you think?

They can buy our land, we can't buy theirs. I'm sure it will remain that way.

My car was stolen (locked) from my driveway. It was found in Mexico.

Any questions?

"It is time for the U.S. to
criminalize illegal immigration as a felony offense

build a wall along the Mexico border and provide enough personnel to patrol that border, and

make it very painful for employers who hire illegals."

"You can argue politics but you cannot argue demographics. The Baby boomers are past child bearing years and will be out of the workforce starting in the next 2 years. The boomers did not breed enough for even replacement population and their kids are even less likely to have children. Our "culture" IS changing, illegal immigration or not. Those are the facts and unlike opinions, which everyone is entitled to, no one is entitled to their own facts."

Here whe have the crux of your argument. Your a demographic socialist. Not enough workers for your company.

Yes he is, but it's not to late for Karl Rove to turn this around and slam the Dems in November.

Me thinks it was the plan all along.

It (anti-immigration) cost Pete Williams the governorship on California.

In other words, you are saying California leads America. Whatever acts California will perform, America will follow.

You couldn't be more wrong.

California is more anti-American than American.

But what's more appaling is that a Texan such as you would ever imply that California represents America.

Pete Wilson, not Pete Williams.

Oh, and he won his second term and was inaugurated January 2, 1995, after the passage of Proposition 187 in 1994.

Pesky old facts.

"As far as a Texan"

He's no Texan. Bush attended school up in the northeast. He does not relate to the average Texan.

Strictly from a National Security standpoint, immigration legislation must have the criminalization wording. What happens when MS13 gets in bed with Al-Qaeda?? Rumor has it they already have..

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm saying it's not going to happen. No way the Senate goes from that awful amnesty-citizenship-and-welfare-for-all bill to criminalizing illegals, and as I said, even the House Republicans weren't serious, and tried to kill it.

The best we can hope for is some sort of serious border crack-down, and I'm not holding my breath on that either.

It's not immigration, it's migration.

Wrong---it is a invasion. An illegal or likely enemy invasion. This is a fact---no arguement about it.
