Isn't that thing a little "top heavy"? I was thinking the same thing.
I wonder what it looks like below the water line?

Isn't it one of the ugliest thing you ever seen in the water. An board, I'm sure it a nice time but it looks like spending your vacation on a drilling platform

What a great day to be alive, to see this. This is some kind of joke..right.
Help me out here. Why would anyone book passage on this monstrosity?

I understand they have two more identical ones on order.

BTW, of course I only say that because I am very much interested in seeing more ships sailing in the sea. (Try saying that three times fast!) :)

What do you mean? Don't you like to sail the seas? Actually, there is a great song I have to share with you about that very topic. Maybe this tune will help you out. (Maybe not.) Coming up...

I've just begun a scan of the thread, but looking at the photo uptop, I'd hate to be in that sucker while driving it through the San Gorgonio Pass (6th windiest place on earth, reportedly)....it looks like a blowover just waiting to happen.

Here. Try playing this Queen tune on your banjo --
Seven Seas of Rhye
Fear me you lord and lady preachers,
I descend upon your earth from the skies
I command your very souls you unbelievers,
Bring before me what is mine:
the Seven Seas of Rhye.
Can you hear me you peers and privy councillors?
I stand before you naked to the eyes
I will destroy any man who dares abuse my trust
I swear that you'll be mine:
The Seven Seas of Rhye
Sister -- I live and lie for you,
Mister -- do and I'll die
...I possess you, belong to you forever
Storm the master marathon I'll fly through
By flash and thunder fire I'll survive!
I'll survive! I'll survive!
Then I'll defy the laws of nature -- and come out alive....
Be gone with you -- you shod and shady senators!!!
Give out the good leave out the bad evil cries
I challenge The Mighty Titan and his Troubadours!
And with a smile:
I'll take you to The Seven Seas of Rhye.
(Oh I do like to be beside the seaside
Oh I do like to be beside the sea...)
Without a doubt, one of the finest Queen tunes ever! :)

Please don't confuse riding on this floating hotel lobby with sailing. Riding in a floating resort such as that ship, has nothing to do with any real experience of the sea.
I am not familiar with Queen songs, and have never heard of the song you have taken the trouble to post thus I would not know the melody. Thanks anyway.

And, actually -- that tune might be a little too complicated for a banjo. It's really a ahard-rock anthem. Good for when you're about oh, 15 years old, and finding out just how loud the volume can really go on your speakers. But, it's still a classic.

LOL...I chuckled when I read this, above -- but, you do make a valid point. Thanks. (And, next time I'll try to find a song you would know.) In fact, I actually heard some great banjo music today.

I name this ship the 'Freedom of the Sea.'
Oops. I hope the reporter misheard her and she didn't in fact misname Freedom of the Seas.
To: Banjoguy
Maybe it means: you somtimes don't want to bother looking things up. (Me, too.)

No, I am sure it's "Seas." At least that's what I recall reading. Anyway, I am too tired to gab any more. Have a nice night, all!
