The President already called Vincente Fox to reassure him about tonight's speech. I'm not hopeful.
Yawn, lame.
When are you tinfoilers going to get a new schtick.
I am not as intrested in what he says. I'm want to see WHAT HE DOES. I want to see NG arresting aliens, I want to see a wall. I want to see deportations.
Spare me the promises. Let me see action.
SECURE THE BORDERS!
To be fair, the President reassured Fox that we weren't going to militarize (start a war at) the border.
Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
What post were you responding to, its been removed.
nor should you be if what Kingston was told turns out to be true.
Not sure what is suppose to be a surprise - the text of the speech has already been released to the press (as is normal and customary). Local talk show host was reading exerpts from it ----
About the only thing new is the call for National Guard troops on the border. But after all is said-and-done, it really is just a consolation to ge this amnesty debacle passed.
I sure hope congress doesn't fall for it. Militarizing the border should be mandatory WITHOUT amnesty. Round up the illegals and ship them out ASAP.
It is all about keeping Fox in power...better the devil you know, than one you don't...
Bush is a diplomat. Calling Fox before the speech is a very savvy move
I wonder if El Presidente, Vincente Fox, invided President Bush to join him in Yakima, Washington on the 24th of May when he comes here to rally HIS people.
