It puts those RINOs in Congress on notice that we are going to kick their butts out of there if they don't start listening to the real conservatives.

Interesting that POTUS CANDIDATE MCCAIN...didn't even vote!!
He has his name all over one of the bills...and he can't even show up to vote!!!
That should be another mark for the "con" side of his ledger...(does he have any "pro" marks??) LOL

thank Heavens it wasn't anything important that McCain, Lott plus the other 2 morons didn't vote on this. McCain isn't a maverick, he's probably the most stupendously selfish, self-promoting, finger-in-the-wind, political hack in politics since BJ & Hillary...and that is saying something when you think of Schmuckie Schumer and John Kerry...

Considering that I've been contributing both financially and physically to the GOP for years, voted for Bush both times, have voted Republican in virtually every election, including for local city seats, and have been a member of this web forum for sufficient time to earn my stripes, I think it's absolutely absurd to accuse me of being a "DNC Virtual Campaigner".
I am not, however, a Bush-bot. My growing disillusionment with our President is entirely a result of what he has and has not done. Yes, he is still our CiC, and I recognize and respect that, but that doesn't mean anything goes when it comes to domestic policy.

If Dr. Frist couldn't lead a Republican majority to vote AYE on S-22 ( Malpractice Reform), a measure which would help insure access to care in many troubled areas, how does anyone look to Bill Frist to lead anyone? His 2008 Goose is well-done.

Trouble is many of those Senators who voted no just got re-elected and we'll forget all about it in 6 years.
Then there are the RINOS who live in blue states...they'll never get kicked out as long as they toe the opposition line.
