I still have a hard time believing that people get paid to post at FreeRepublic. If such a cushy job exists, I want an application. Does this mean that there are also folks getting paid to be "sleepers" at DU? I searched on Monster.com, and I couldn't find an opening for "internet troll" anywhere.
Maybe I should do that as the "opposition response" to PD's rant. Maybe someone will beat me to it. ;)

Look, this illegal immiration issue is VITAL to the future of this country. It's not like other issues. It's as important as the WOT. A lot of us don't think the President is making the right decision on the immigration issue. We think our country is headed in a very, very bad direction if our President's plan goes through. Saying "grow up" is a childish response to a legitimate concern.
Then maybe you should find a third party site rather than trying to drive a wedge in this site.

They are not joking about reducing the world's population to 500 million. They are not joking about removing the borders in NORTHAM. They are not joking about a forced SLAG computer implant ID chip. As near as I can deduce, they are also serious about making virtually all of NORTH AM a national park for the ruling elite and sufficient serfs to serve them. This may sound like far out theory for those who have not examined the evidence sufficiently. But it's not theory for those of us who have examined the evidence. Actually, one only need listen to Gore, Scuba Teddy, Shrillery, Boxerface et all and one hears the same values only slightly coded, hidden.

The recent poll taken here on FR is a prime example. The "still vote Republican" got 40% of the vote winning the overall poll but "vote third party" and "stay home" got over 60% combined. That is a big hit. Republicans can not win elections by alienating 2/3 of their base.

Spiff, the fact that the democrats, 18 Republican Senators, and the President *REFUSE* to put enforcement first, shows this isn't going to happen.

I don't think this is going to happen. I think we should concentrate on the Senate Republicans/Democrats who are against Amnesty and have them filibuster or just concentrate on the house and get them to kill any bill. IOW, no bill is better than what the President and Ted Kennedy want.
I'm supporting the House Republicans in November if they stand up to the Senate and look out for the USA. As for the 18 Senate Republican Tratiors, I have their names and will contribute money to defeat them.
Posters here who advocate GOP defeat are trolls or third party defeatists.

The Ohio Republican party gave overt support to Jim Petro against Ken Blackwell, but the grassroots effort and public support gave Blackwell, a REAL conservative, the substantial victory.
It is incumbent on "we, the people" to get rid of the RINOS. If we will not do that, it is not the party to blame, but ourselves.
