From the article:
Leslie Cauley, the USA Today reporter who last week broke the news that three major U.S. telecommunications companies were assisting the National Security Agency in building a database to more easily track any communications by potential terrorists, is listed as a donor to former House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt, according to a search of The Center for Responsive Politics Web site, www.opensecrets.org.

Good thing Prez talks about it because MSM chose to ignore it as usual, doing hotel balcony reporting. Even BBC thought it was a big story, so interviewed some ministers from the new cabinet.
It 's a shame that MSM will ignore this historic moment because it was achieved by our great soldiers there.

What?! Attack one of their own?!

"....Have you been staying up late, picking guitar and drinkin' lately?....." Yes, I'm usually up by now. One too many 'Red Hook Nut Brown Ales' last night. The crowd was very appreciative all evening with lots of applause after each number, so the beer flowed a little TOO freely.
:-p

Very True, AB. Now that politics mixed in reporting, they are in deep fears of facing big lawsuit if not revert their story & offer apology to the phone companies.

Hagel is on so he can bash Bush.
No, he'll support Bush and the shamnesty with a lot of double-talk. Also, the media is giving him opportunity to try to cover himself for Hagel-Martinez. Expect his attack on Sessions' telling the truth about it. Hagel and McCain still think their betrayal of the citizens is going to be repaid with higher office. Hopefully, we can defeat them both in their next primary.

Isn't Katrina going to destroy GOP?
In a surprising result from the Star-Tribune's Minnesota Poll, the GOP has surpassed the Democrats in party affiliation.

There was a scramble to get her live between FOX & NBC. Not sure who won. No doubt the same questions are going to be repeated between them. Rice should say as Tony Snow to WH reporters - "how many times do I have to repeat the same answers?"
As usual, John Gibson is best defender of Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
