Sadly, I think you're probably right. I have co-workers with teenage children who think that being gay is quite fashionable. It's almost like the 'in' thing to be right now, especially for the girls.

There's probably a lot of Bush, conservative, fundamentalist Christian or Catholic Church bashing if politics comes up at all.
They probably find stories that don't get reported much about "gay bashings" or executions of gays overseas. There's probably a few folks who seem just a little too obsessed and militant with the AIDS crisis, homosexual adoption or gay marriage.
There's bound to be a lot of seduction, not sexual, but in terms of getting folks to "come out" and believe anything short of an endorsement of their relationships from their parents is immoral, wrong, stupid, homophobic, etc. Abstinence is probably laughed at.
