It's a prison, not an amusement-park ride. What's up, did they put up a sign outside the gate that says "You must be this tall to ride Bubba"? I mean, he didn't exactly go around with a sign that said "You must be this tall to ride Mr. Thompson", did he?

This blows my mind!
When this guy molests another child, (and he will), I hope the judge will have to pay for stupidity!

Seems to me if the attacker was tall enough to commit a crime then he is tall enough to do the time. What BS. We dont need judges like this.

"His crimes deserved a long sentence, District Judge Kristine Cecava said, but she worried that Richard W. Thompson, 50, would be especially imperiled by prison dangers."
Height does not matter, if you are a child molester you will be at peril no matter how tall you are in prison. This judge needs to go.

When this guy molests another child, (and he will), I hope the judge will have to pay for stupidity! This is precisely why vigilante justice is the only justice child rapists and associated other perverts will receive. Hopefully there's somebody with a good aim out in Nebraska that will do the job. And, if they get the judge, too, well, boo freakin' hoo.

A short sentence? This a small sample of what is wrong with our society and dwarfs everything in the way of judicial outrages. Did he show a little remorse.

How 'bout forwarding pictures of the Judges family, especially kids, and a map to her home to this guy..........bet it doesn't take the judge long to redefine justice, then.

Why? Are there special prisons for those with acne? Those who are overweight? Those who are allergic to anti-perspirant?

This makes my blood boil. The child he assaulted or molested was too short to defend themselves from this perverts pathetic existence. That child didn't have a choice, neither should this sicko. What is it going to take for these liberal judges to side with the REAL victims? Unbelievable.
