Hmmmm, might well give the parents of the child a good clean shot at the bastard.

Alternatively, this judge needs an education. A real life one. I will let Karma arrange that for her.

Only 4 months with the ankle bracelet? It's sh*t like this that has always made me say, "if this ever happens to any of my girls, forget the police I'll take care of them myself." That little &*$%@ would wish he were dead!

"Too short for prison?"

Did she have him drop trou in the courtroom and determine that he'd surely be mistaken for a female in the shower?

I wasn't sympathizing with him, I think it's neat. They could give him six months sentence and and it turns into the death penalty once his fellow inmates get a hold of him.

People like him always repeat and now it's just a matter of time before that judge will very much regret her decision.

How many either get out and do it again and again?

Dateline had a show last night (I think it was a repeat) of adults meeting young girls in chat rooms and setting up meetings. The guys came into the 14-year-olds home, late at night, while her parents were away. They were met by a TV camera crew (Cops were outside).

A number of the guys were convicted sex offenders. They hadn't learned their lesson.

Can you imagine the embarassment (note: I'm not being sympathetic) of being filmed on TV, while trying to rendez-vous with a 14-year old? And then arrested? That would really ruin your day, huh? Well ... read on:

One guy was caught that night -- and THE NEXT DAY he set up a rendez-vous with a 14-year-old at a local McDonald's. He was met with a camera crew (again).

These people CANNOT stop themselves. I would like a Constitutional Amendment saying that sex offenders cannot be fined or imprisoned: just kill 'em.

He should have sentenced to 10 years of babysitting the judge's kids.

This country is way too short of Dirty Harry types and any of the Death Wish movies type action.

Something tells me this judge won't regret a thing. If you notice the pattern of judge's that do this, they always defend themselves with some stupid rationalization or they are so ultra-liberal that they think people like us protesting something like this are out of our minds. She won't regret it and the fact is, he has already "killed" this child. For the rest of the childs life. If someone did this to either of my kids (son or daughter), they would not live long. I would go Ellie Nessler on them.

Sounds good to me. There is no rehab for these people. Sad day when the death penalty was reduced to murder only, and only certain kinds/levels of murder. A childs mind and soul are murdered here. And the guy that kept going back (McDonald's the next day); I wonder why the hell he is even walking around. I want to know why he isn't in jail awaiting trial. He IS a serial sex offender.

We've got a local TV news anchor ("ex" now) who got busted in a 'young boy' chat room...he sent pictures of his wee-wee to the sting operator and then set up a meeting....got busted and mugshotted.

How these people think they're immune is beyond me.

But, she said, "That doesn't make you a hunter. You do not fit in that category."

Huh? What exactly does that mean? Is there something left out of this story? Why no info about the details of the case?

Judge Kristine Cecava is "Stuck on Stupid".

My guess: Childless as well.

. "I truly hope that my bet on you being OK out in society is not misplaced."

And I truly hope the parents of his next victim will be allowed to disembowel you slowly for your cowardice!

They are immune because the people who do this cross all socioeconomical categories.... As long as powerful money brokers and politicians are doing it (which they are) as well as trailer trash, you will not see any of them treated hard by the system.

Our "Justice" system is only tough on petty criminals... Hell even the speaker of the House is arguing that House Members should be above the law just this past week.

So does this means that in Nebraska dwarves can now commit crimes at will?

Hey, I would have taken your word for it -- you didn't have to attach a copy of the picture he sent....

Yeesh -- scrapings from the DUmp:

If the places are so terrifying that a short, but fully grown adult male, simply cannot survive, shouldn't we be doing something to reform the prison system as a whole?

the conditions of the probation are actually a win-win for everyone-- the judge said "I want control of you until you integrate change in your life" (my emphasis). Prison as punishment accomplishes nothing except revenge, whereas forcing change actually serves everyone well.

(To be fair, even some of the DUmmies are appalled by this idiot judge.)
