There is no evidence to suggest that former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic was poisoned, according to a United Nations investigation. The Hague tribunal's report said he died of a heart attack - despite claims "in some segments of the media that he was the victim of murder". Mr Milosevic died in his cell on 11 March while on trial for war crimes. The report said security breaches did allow him to self-medicate but said he had received "proper care"... Doctors from Serbia, Russia, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, who had treated him before or during his time in detention were also consulted by the inquiry... The report ruled out suicide and added that Mr Milosevic had serious health problems before he arrived at the tribunal in 2003. He also refused to stop smoking or take exercise and often ignored medical advice.

And so the UN buries another scandal . . . Sad, but true.
RIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.....
I would have paid a hundred dollars to watch the spetznaz rescue Milosevic. Two hundred if they could have shot the Hague to absolute pieces in the process.
It wasn't a heart attack that killed the man. It was sheer boredom.
Being put on trial by the U.N. for war crimes is 99% waiting to die, and 1% figuring out ways to bribe guards to sneak in opiates.
"Jews not targeted for extermination, Nazis find"
Thank God the UN has cleared that up. Now we can put all doubts to rest.
People fall down elevator shafts all the time, nothing unusual to see here, move on...
Hey, if people in other countries want to buy, use, or sell heroin, it's none of our garsh-darned business. Libertarianism forever. ;')
Read my tagline
Jews "refused to stop smoking or take exercise and often ignored medical advice". That is why they had high mortality rate.
The good news is that he's dead. Everything else is no news.
Oh great. Another "deep thinker" suddenly joining us on the Balkans threads. I'm so thrilled I could just crap.
The only way Milosevic was going to leave The Hague was dead or guilty. Since a guilty conclusion couldn't be reached...
We all know that a "guilty" verdict would have been a complete joke and would have invited way too much second guessing that could not stand up to any scrutiny what so ever.
Slobo's dead. Long live the lies about the Serbian people.
So where are my pancakes, clown?
Ok, go find your teeth first then get flipping, chop-chop!
Of course not. He died of torture while in UN custody.
Denying medical care to critically ill patient while in custody is TORTURE.
His cell was under 24/7 surveillance, yet he was left for two hours unconscious, until he died.
and the body of one named Hoffa, haven`t ben found yet.
At lest, Milosevic got burrial.
I was betting that Milosevic`s body would be cemented in some highway...
